One thing I don't understand about the chart Troll posted is that Walt making the chemical battery to start the RV in season 2 is listed there as being step in Walt's path to sociopathy. How in the hell, does that contribute to Walt becoming a sociopath?

Teaser spoilers

I think someone is going to get stabbed , but not the guy (guy who ran the laundry) who the teaser made it seem to be.

Yeah, if they were going to reference that episode at all, then it should have been the fact that Walt lied to Jesse to get him out into the desert in the first place.

I also have issue with "Forces Gus to work with him" at the end of S2. How on earth did he force Gus to do anything?

He forced Gus after he organized the superlab in Season 3. DUH

I'll take that bet.

Foreshadowing!

So am I the only one who thinks Gomie totally looks like Cesar Millan?

I'm expecting him to walk into the scene with 10 dogs behind him every time we cut to the DEA.

Going back through old episodes with my girlfriend, I'm midway through season 3 and this show's soundtrack is insanely good. I mean they haven't dropped the ball yet.

Mike is a traitor.

Lydia is "ranked" higher than him in the Madrigal chain of command, she told Mike to kill the 9 guys. Mike refused, and instead protected them.

Mike was a traitor, and now he is dead.

Making a list of all these Mike haters so I can give it to Walter White and say they all think his hat looks stupid.

BLAM BLAM

Man I miss Gus.

I mean this season has been incredible in all sorts of ways, but Gus was just fantastic.

He will be playing a similar character in NBC's Revolution.

and if he had killed those guys none of the current events would have happened.

We don't know enough about Madrigal to know if there even is a chain of command. From what we've seen so far, it looks like most of the company is clean, and it was just a few people involved in the illegal activities (Schuller, Lydia, etc). Once Gus was killed, it turned into an "every man for himself" situation, so it's not like Lydia had any sort of authority to order Mike to do anything, which is backed up by how nervous she was even bringing it up.

At Comic-con this year, Vince Gilligan said Walt would do something that is totally irredeemable this season. I assume this was it. Could he go even further?

I really doubt what Walt did in this episode was worthy of being labelled irredeemable above and beyond all the other things Walt has done to Vince Gilligan. He'll do something else. It's all downhill from here.

If that was supposed to be irredeemable, then I am severely disappointed. I mean we still have one more episode left to go. I kind of hope it has to do with keeping Jesse in the drug business. That would make Walt a a total scumbag in my eyes. Though what he did this last episode is definitely up there.

I was gonna say, if you don't already think Walt is a total scumbag... I dunno. I feel bad for Jesse.

He could get one at that nail salon I bet.

Now, now. I don't think that the White family could handle cooking meth, laundering loads of money, murder, AND prostitution... Although I wonder if Saul ever considered a strip club as a way to launder money. It's probably in his files somewhere.

Exactly. If Mike had to die, he deserved a better way to go than a fucking manchild running up to his car and shooting him point blank in a fit of anger/jealousy.

TBH, Gilligan has probably thrown a lot of things out there that he thinks will make Walt irredeemable and people just will never be 100% converted.

The way he just took that extra bacon for his 51st birthday was totally vile. Walt is now a totally unlikable character because of that. I mean he just takes and takes until everyone has little more than eggs and pancakes.

Gilligan has said himself quite recently that he can completely understand why people root for Walt as well as why someone would not. And as long as people root for him, there is always chance for redemption :P

You wouldn't when a small portion of your audience is a bunch of sociopaths? Gilligan all about the money, man, he ain't down to ride and die with these philosophies.

Since when did Carmela Soprano have an affair?

She had a thing for Furio and neither he or she ever acted on it.

She had a thing with the teacher while Tony and her were separated.

She got hot flushes from the priest and nobody acted on that either.

But none of that has anything to do with why Carmela Soprano is not only a much better character than Skylar, but perhaps the best female character on television. YEAH I SAID IT.
