I just read the plot of the second season. Seems like they decided to ignore the best part of the danish series.

We are one in our excitement for Battle Born, The Killer's 4th studio album.
If anything, the series finale was quite phenomenal, sadly everything before that wasn't.
I didn't even know there was a Danish version.
I wouldn't call it phenomenal.

I enjoyed it 5x times more than any episode previous, so that counts for something.
You can't call a move from mostly all meh to interesting, phenomenal.
I didn't like the last part of it.
Meaning the aunt's part in it all. It just seemed forced for tears.
I knew she was in on it, but her last scene was just shocking. Idk if it was her delivery but it seemed very surreal. I'd like for netflix or directtv to pick up the show, now that they are past Rosie.
I'm boring. I never joke.
Just watch Forbrydelsen 2. Third season starts next month. I'M SO EXCITED, I love Sarah Lund.

Im sure there are a few. But you just gave me the idea for a gay porn film: A group a scruffy, beefy scientists are trapped in a research station. They have discovered ancient alien craft under the ice. A parasite from the ship has infected one or all of them. The parasite causes the sexy scientists to engage in sexual acts, first with two and then three. The film will culminate with a an orgy.
Just showing hype for the next Killer's album coming soon.

I really enjoyed Prometheus even with all those plot holes.
Me too. I was avoiding everything about it up to release, so I was surprised at all the hate as my friends and I enjoyed it. Not perfect by any means, but I had a good time (helps that the production design was outstanding).
agreed. Film gaf loves to rip that movie apart along with Damon Lindelof. It was a very good movie...i only had a few minor quibbles with it.

Both deserve to be ripped to shreds.
I had bigger issues with the characterizations and behaviour of the crew than with the lack of answers at the film's end, but all of that was overshadowed by the great tension and thriller aspects of it. And I always appreciate when a movie can make me physically cringe in my seat -
the C-section was brilliant.

That's exactly how I feel about it. The characters were the script's main problem, but the direction was amazing. I also love ambiguous movies, I don't get why everyone wanted to have all the answers and not have the opportunity to think about it.
I associate 1313 with Star Wars, so that must be what you're talking about.
Also hadn't seen those viral videos for Prometheus until recently, they were pretty awesome and sold the tone of the film really well. Yeah he was very good. I wasn't aware of Fassbender before X-Men: First Class but I'm glad he seems to be gaining popularity.
Remembering the Lindelof bashing over Prometheus and the Temple-arc bashing in the LOST thread makes me miss the show even more.

Agreed. It'd be one thing if the film was weighed down not only by its lacklustre characters but by similarly lacking direction and production design, but the rest of that was pulled off so well that it created an incredible atmosphere and feel of isolation and a great, effectively grounded depiction of the future. Also maybe one of my favourite takes on holograms to date.
