Another Meepo photo.

i want, a lot.

Not to sound greedy but I hope we have a 3-4 hero patch that launches the game after the international.

I really need to stop playing Single Draft. By far the highest amount I seem to encounter of idiots who don't know how to play (which is fine) but think they do and have a vocabulary consisting of "noob" and "team noob"

I may switch to RD. SD can be really hit or miss, depending on what the rest of your team picks, and if someone on the other team gets a pubstomp hero. The best games are the ones where nobody has anything like a Lycan, Naga, or Prophet and it's just man fights, Gyrocopter vs. Ogre Magi or some shit like that.

The thing I dislike about going into all pick, is that I either random, and have a bit more fun, or be forced into picking a "good" hero or a counter in order to try and win. But playing heroes I more experienced with isn't always the most enjoyable thing. It's infinitely more satisfying to do well on a hero I'm not that familiar with, or don't get to play a lot.

We talked about it before, but there are a couple modes I'd like to see that I'd probably play more than any of the current ones. All pick with a ban phase, reverse pick, and reverse pick with a ban phase. All random would also be entertaining.

I have a question about replays in dota2. When you download a reply, is there a way to see all the replays you have downloaded in 1 convenient place or do you have to find that specific match again in your match history to watch it again?

So I said earlier I was going to try and work on making some stuff for the workshop. Well the other day I got some clay (It's a lot easier for me to work in 3D rather than drawing stuff) and modeled the sword (well, half of it, in perspective) for Naga Siren I had sketched out earlier.

Fooled around in Maya again earlier in the day and watched some tutorials, so I think I have a decent hang of it now to at least get started. Especially now that I have a base to work from that I can more easily think about than just a drawing.

I'll post stuff when I've made suitable progress.

How do you take an in game screenshot like this? It's amazing how good the game looks that close up...

Photoshop. Lots and lots of photoshop. As for up close, I'm sure you can move the camera around by messing in console. Dotacinema has a lot of cool angles in some of their videos.

I keep laughing when I look at the TI2 hero stats. Bounty one of the most successful heroes? Veno the best support? Enigma and Shadow Demon getting trashed repeatedly? It's like GAF has got the current meta figured out with the exception of Chen and Enchantress.

I know, I love it. We need to do a season 2 of the IHL about a month before TI3 next year and see if we can pull off the same thing.

That's because nobody can play Chen or Enchantress on GAF (huehuehue minus insured). HoNGAF = International Tier confirmed?

Indeed! The weird part is, these two metas should not coincide, you would think the reason for these heroes' success/failures would be different when comparing gafihl to TI2; but how is that possible if almost everything is the same?

And Insured is amazing with Chen.

Were just high tier on dat same level :D

I played Enchantress once. I was alright, but the rest of the team lost the laning phase on their own accord while I was jungling and blamed their stupid deaths on me not being there. So we lost that game.

Well there were rumors of a Drow Ranger remake. Precision Aura and Marksmanship are now replaced with Shadow Wave and Shallow Grave. Now Drow truly is best carry.

True strike should be added to her Precision Aura and get rid of Marksmanship with something cool like a move where a spider comes out of her and attacks the person giving them death.

You're doing it wrong.

Edit: Lanes didn't lose while you were jungling, the lanes lost because you were jungling.

They should sign PotmBottom, always wondered why TL didn't try and expand to more games.

This was already known.

Also, where are you looking at those stats? I'm curious.

I hope they will sell stuff online at the valve store.

They will, but it won't matter to me since they don't ship to Malaysia.

Me and my friends are so frustrated here. We would gladly give money to Valve for their stuff, but apparently it's not good enough for them. :(

Be happy they don't, you'd pay 10000x the money of the stuff you get just for shipping.
