Nothing too bad. He said that luck plays an important part in winning the CL, as was the case with Chelsea. It is true and I don't think it was a dig. We fans read too much into these things.

You can declare interest on jobs, even before another's team manager is sacked. If he's in a 'very unsafe' position at his job, you can declare your interest in it. You can apply to positions while you're managing a club too. Sometimes media will speculate you're first choice for a team, and will ask you for comments on it. Many things can happen depending on what you choose to answer. You can also comment publicly on another manager's work at the club, whether it's good or bad. Right now I'm looking to take charge of Nottm Forest, and the manager position is 'unsafe', so I'm trying to comment negatively on him so I can hurry his sacking and apply to the position. I'm unemployed currently.

Quite a fun story with this one. I managed Malaga, resigned as I felt players could be giving more of them. As a Continental rep coach, I signed with Nottm Forest, in the nPower League One. I was sacked after 9 months. Managed a 3rd tier Portuguese team up until a quite shocking CL win and then let my contract finish without renewing it. Now Nottm Forest are in the Blue Square Bet Premier (I think that's the name, it's the 5th tier anyway) and I'm just pulling all the stops to get to manage them again :D

I tried to show you how ironic that is to call our fans hipsters while your ultras call themselves Schickeria...not the right choice of words.
You obviously meant Erfolgsfans and I wouldn't even object to that, we certainly got an influx of those not just thanks to our success, but also thanks to how we achieved it/the way we played and also the age of our stars, etc..
But the core fan base didn't really change, the stadium mostly was sold out even during the worst years. I don't think it ever went under 70k in BL since the expansion to 80+k.
Bayern always had those fans and I bet they were never part of your concerns, lol

Both Man City and Dortmund were weak last year and got knocked out in the group stage. It'll be interesting to see their development. I think they'll both perform better than last season, but only one will go through.
