I think cubanb made that thread to get banned on purpose to enhance this thread. He knew it would guarantee a ban, and rightly guessed it wouldn't get him a perm.

That's dedication to the craft.

we should have a Survivor-style reality show for all of the shit posters/joke characters/"gaf celebs" and have them compete in various challenges until only one is allowed to stay on GAF

This was probably the most infamous. Great thread creator, fun poster to read, and hell he was even the face of GAF for a while. Had his own GAF line of T-Shirts and coffee mugs. Then one day there was a falling out between him and eviLore and POOF! he was literally erased from GAF existence. He was not only banned but his entire history of posts disappeared.

Who knows where he is now. I've heard rumors from the underground that he currently bores many children in an evil land with a demi god.

IIRC Huelen was notorious for nitpicking any minor detail in Mario/Sonic games (I think he said something like he stopped playing one game just cause he didn't like the first level's music) and the fact that he was getting angry over a freakin eye color probably pushed it.

Still miss that goofball though.

Wollan and Kittonwy were both amusing posters from time to time and I liked them. However, if I recall correctly, they were also a little over-the-top in their support of all things Sony. I don't think that had anything to do with their bans, though.
 
Rats, all of the ones I knew were named already.

I loved reading Doombringer's posts. I was never around for when he was active, but it was fun to read old threads.

Most of the more infamous ones I'm familiar with were active before my account was activated. I'm sort of glad they were removed before I was allowed to post.

I didn't know there was a female clique on GAF that presumes to approve or disapprove of other women on GAF.

Is this high school?

Far as I know koshiba never personally attacked any gaffers but that is what Himuro did.

That seems like a bit of a mis-characterization. Himuro's post was certainly harsh, but the primary point of it was to call her out for attention whoring by constantly mentioning her breasts. I don't really think many people were scared off by that.

If he's going to make the point that it scared any of us off then he's wrong. I know me and a couple others were not sad to see her go nor were scared off.

Seems a bunch of people made Koshiba their internet waifu or something since this gets trotted out every time with Himuro as the big bad sexist.
