Know Anybody Famous?

I guess the closest to me knowing a famous person is going to the same school with the guy dating Adam Lambert.

Hated Rocket Power for what it's worth. Still pretty cool. :)

Tony Azevedo, who was at one time, im not sure if he still is, named the #1 Water Polo player in the world, is my cousin. I've met him a few times, he's a pretty chill dude
 
I know Robin Williams's 1st cousin. I was in the same room as John Cleese once. I swear I saw Steve Jobs looking through the folk section in Haight Amoeba, which doesn't really make sense but whatever...scoping out his competition?

I've met a lot of big classical guitarists, like Christopher Parkening (asshole) and Angel Romero (cool).

My great uncle was the lord mayor of Melbourne. Not really "famous" but he's a public figure.
 
I've met lots of bands and stuff being young and having my dad taking me to concerts, but don't really know any. My brother however pretty much lives at two people I would be surprised if you have heard about, Thomas Helmig (popular and terrible danish pop/rock singer) and Renee Toft Simonnsen (used to be a pretty big model) house where he plays music with one of their family members (they got a recording studio and shit there). Talked with them a couple of times but hardly really know them more than a few casual conversations.

Also I like to think I know a few GAF celebs.
 
Wait, what was the deal with Michael Cera being a Gaffer? Why was he banned?

And I don't know anyone famous. I'm friends with someone who (apparently) knows famous people.
 
I grew up with David Dejesus (outfielder for the cubs), Harvey Weinstein (quite a sad story actually) and Jay and Silent Bob.
 
Nope, only met some. I only saw R Patts and Cronenberg for a Q&A screening.

I've talked to that actress from Brick in an anime con of all places, she's ridiculously shy but I guess most actors are. Nora Zehetner?

I've seen him at events and stuff, and we've talked a few times. I wouldn't say I know him, since he probably thinks of me as one of the other million Troll fans.

Ive posted on here before, but I will again. My dad grew up with Harvey, when they were in their 20's, harvey approached my dad and asked if he wanted to get into the movie industry and start a company up. My dad declined, and harvey went on to start this movie company which you all know as miramax. My dad and harvey still keep in touch, and ive been to his house in CT a few times. But sadly my dad isnt worth the 100 million he would like to be, if you bring up the story to him, he will leave the room lol.
 
Used to play little league ball with Rockies outfielder Dexter Fowler. Actually, his father was the one that got me into organized ball.

In Little league I also used to play with MLB Pitcher Rick Mahler's kids. I think one of em at least made the minor leagues.

I know Jim Ward from ATDI/Sparta. lol i dont know if he counts because I think everyone in el paso knows him but I was able to go to a family only concert when he started doing Sleepercar.

I know Obama quite well. Irl, he's very intimidating and charismatic. He has that "leader" aura around him, a natural born leader. He also makes a mean margarita.

I know Anthony Bourdain. I know him via my uncles best friend. He's exactly as he is on TV, but, a lot less uncensored. We see him sometimes. I once asked if he would let me on his show, he said he would if he were ever in my beck of the woods.

I met Adam Richman before. A couple years back my friend's older brother was taking Adam around town, and we hung out. Adam isn't a nice guy irl, he's a typical college frat boy with an overinflated ego and spent the night drunk and hitting on girls, who didn't respond.
