I agree. I wasn't there, but I have read that thread thoroughly. That sort of enthusiasm is half the reason I came to Gaf in the first place. Dude fucking LOVED Sonic.

But yeah. Disruption, I suppose.

In retrospect, it does seem a little tamer than I remember. I always imagine his ban as a "he's showing us up" type thing, but then I don't because I don't want to think GAF mods would ever do that.

It depends, some people get perma'd for simple things, and then you have people like Blamespace and Eggman who get banned numerous times for continuously disrupting threads yet they never get perm banned.

Also, G-fex is a strange dude, or woman, I don't know what the hell he/she really is, kinda like with Vox-pop.

I know, and he was a jerk to me a couple of times, but he was a family member, and it still sucks. Oh well. I do think hell be back in two weeks.

I will miss his ever changing rad avatars till then.

G-Fex is a dude for sure. Now that you mention VoxPop I swear I saw a junior member with that name. Don't know if it's the same Vox or what...

How did G-fex rise to fame, is it because he's been on these boards for a long time? I used to think he was a joke character like Blamespace or Timedog, but then one day he started showing up on the Wrassle thread and he actually seemed like a normal poster, but then he changed his username and then switched it back to G-fex and started having cosplay women avatars.

Oh and this new Vox-Pop person is someone else, it's not Vox.

He died in a terrible fire that consumed a whole building. There were no survivors. I'm sorry for your loss Panda, I knew you were close to him, ever since he whooped your butt in Marvel.

Ahh, alright.

Me personally, I learned about G-Fex through the old Creepy-GAF movement. His back and forth Yu-Gi-Oh "battle" posts made me lol.

Pretty sure Beef was the one who got "whooped."

Panda told Beef to throw the tag team match and he did, Panda and Beef formed a temporary alliance to take down the better player, since Panda couldn't do it himself.
 
Anyone remember that PS3 fan who loved to post tech articles about the unlimited power of the cell? He had an amiga inspired avatar. After he got banned, he returned with an obvious alt account. (it must have been him, their postins were incredibly similar)

I'm sorry he's gone. He was obviously enormously biased, but he always posted interesting info.

More like, people thought I was dumb for picking Degen as my tag team partner but he ended up ANNIHILATING not only Beef but Ultimoo as well.

Gamefaqs has far stricter rules and is PG rated. Hot girl threads are severely moderated on that site, and cursing is not allowed, and any insult whatsoever is against the TOS. So, if you think Gaf is strict gamefaqs would be worse.

I only remember Londa from the ffxiv threads, and the daily drawing challenge thread but only participated for the first few

Don't know why she was perma banned though

edit: Also, I don't think I've ever gotten as upset on NeoGAF, as when I read her absolute downright awful posts about FFXIV.

I know, I read some of her posts, and the poor girl did all she could to defend a game pretty much everyone else considered a trainwreck :lol
