The only two things I wanted going into this was LTE (check) and NFC (no check). Guess I'm seriously going to consider Android. I've never really paid attention to Android phones. What's the current "best" Android phone, and how close are they to releasing a new "best" Android phone?

Samsung Galaxy SIII just launched and it's pretty awesome. When exactly are yo thinking about getting a new phone?

Hit the Android OT in the community forum for this, someone will help you there. I will if noone else does. But lets not have that conversation in this thread.

I don't understand the disappointment some people seem to be having, what exactly were you expecting? the phone has been upgraded in basically every aspect, the fact that almost everything about it was leaked before hand does not make it a worse product

Every year in every iPhone thread a bunch of people chime in and say "That's it?" or "Small/insignificant update!" There hasn't been an iPhone unveil that truly wowed bloggers and forum goers. Even the original iPhone!

The original iPhone was kind of a big deal. iPhone 4 wasn't bad either. But now it's just minor upgrades. Why people don't recognize it, I don't know. My facebook feed is already full of mindless people screaming: "IPHONE 5 I WANT YOU" and "IPHONE 5, FUCK YEAH", while they don't even know what's changed.

Sad world we live in.

Galaxy S3, HTC OneX and Galaxy Nexus (but this one is kinda dated) are the top now (in my opinion).

New Nexus phone(s) should be announced soon.

iPhone 4 being free on contract is the thing most people I know will be tremendously excited about today. I'm not kidding.

The 4 really was the biggest leap of them all. Still love this beautiful, beautiful phone.

I agree. 4 was the best phone apple produced design-wise. I had no desire moving to 4s and I am not that hot on iPhone 5 either.

No iPad announcement either? Ugh, why am I even staying up?

S3 and One X (though I hate Sense) are the current best.

New Nexus, rumored to be released around october, same as their previous, should be the next best 'pure' Android.

It needs to run good. This animation thing has me bothered though with a library of 25,000 songs. Not that mine is that big but I'm sure some of you.

I really wish they would push the Movie section of iTunes more. I want a dedicated Film DD that isn't playing second fiddle to another form of entertainment.

What? iPhone 2G, 3G, and 4 presentations literally made me insta-buy the phones.

Im confused. So you pay for instance $199 (16gig version) and a two year contract..is that is or is there a monthly sub too? or is it just $199 and thats it?
