Really? Is it Terry from the show, or Terry from JLU?

From the show, it hints at the JLU ending in one of the JLB chapters though. I think the time line is: the show, the comics starting with Hush Beyond into Industrial Revolution to the new chapters, then the JLU episode is an ending point. Though with the way its been going I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to take the JLU ep out of the continuity or change it up a bit when they get up to it. All in all its one of the easiest comic purchases I make a month, easily worth the money. I just wish it got more hype, it really deserves better. Decent creative team, good price, only down side is it feels short and leaves you counting the days til the next one.

I think I could justify spending a dollar a month for Batman Beyond. I loved that show as a kid.

Well there is Hush Beyond and the Industrial Revolution trades, I don't think the new-52 has affected the Beyond-verse all that much. It seems to take it's ques from the old cartoon.

I was just talking about the format. Like, I want the 22 pages of BB from Hush Beyond and all those great issues before the reboot. And the team has remained the same since BB came back to comic books, and they handle the universe really damn well I'd say, so I'm happy they get to keep putting out stories. The series does need more lovin'.

The only downside, which Slug has pointed out, is the short chapters. It's still a great book and the two trades that are out are fun. The guys doing this book really know what they're doing, they've had a great take on Hush and Catwoman. Plus it looks like The Jokerz are about to make shit get real, and after them some crazy hacking story is coming up. I just wish Nyugen got to do more than just the covers.

WTF happen to Dr. Nemesis? And wasn't Forge dead?

A lot of gritty killkill books Marvel announcing this week

Larroca on X-Force. Oh I've laughed out loud. With that lineup. So X-Force is a dead title to me now then. Had a good solid run at least!

Why did the artist use Keanu Reeves as a model for Domino? And what's up with her collar. Dear God this went from Best to Worst so fast. I think Colossus is the only part of that lineup that has any semblance of character or previous character development....and that's not saying a lot.

Last day of running down the shot clock of life with this stupid fucking day job and the incessant whining of fucktards that cannot read instructions, then I can focus on drawing.

DO OR DIE!

WatXM and UA are all that will exist of the mutants in my pickups. On a tangent, Thunderbolts as well as that has the fun sort of varied cast UXF did.

Speaking of, what exactly is the plan for Secret Avengers? I assume thats going to have a big change to it post-Remender too since that teams roster is gonna be considerably thin soon unless Agent Venom is going for Wolverine status.

Holy shit Marvel is trolling me. They actively hate my guts and want me to hang myself. It's the only explanation.

Weird thing is, X-Men Season One GN by Hopeless was really good, one of the better Season One graphic novels produced... but all of these concepts sound really grim and terrible, and nothing like it at all.

Avenging Spiderman was good this week, I like it when DP is fun ^_^

Anyone else read Comedian #3? Brian Az's work on the series is pretty good.

Maybe Dr. Nemesis just wants to fit in. After all, a white fedora and suit are going to stick out like a sore thumb if they ever start getting shot at.

Wearing white didn't stop Moon Knight from being a badass though. Besides his pimp coat and hat were much better than EXTREME look he's been given, it's like there was a forgotten EXTREME 90s character called Dr. Nemesis and they recently found about it and thought what the heck and slapped on the current Dr.
Also why is Colossus on there?

You know, I just realized that more comics already exist than I could ever conceivably read in my lifetime, and that just made me less mad. I think I'm gonna be ok guys. :)

Especially with that Sixth Gun sale...yeesh!

I still never read Love & Rockets and I got it all sittin on muh bookshelf!!

I liked his writing in the Season One GN and him being a local writer, I am willing to give him a shot. But the premise does sound terrible and I have never liked Cable.

Well, they've got a weapon expert, a super-scientist, a girl, and a guy who can shoot the heck out of people. It sorta makes sense to also have a guy who can punch stuff really fucking hard.

It's one of those ideas that can either go in a really fucking stupid or a really fucking awesome direction depending on the execution.

That what I always say about movies. It's literally impossible for me to view all of them, but I love that there's always something new for me to discover, even after watching thousands of them.

Gritty book one was Thunderbolts(blah), gritty book two was Avengers Arena(BR/HG knock off....) and gritty book three was Cable and XForce with tons of orange. I threw up in my mouth.

Really awful Dr. Nemesis redesign. Some looks just shouldn't be messed with.

I guess this and the possibly-related Humphries/Garney "Killers" book, which should be revealed a bit later today, are all the Marvel NOW! announcements we're getting this month. BUT I WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIERON GILLEN'S BOOK IS NOWWWWWWW

Speaking of which, guess I can update my Point One post from a few weeks back:

Obvious/confirmed:

Brian Michael Bendis & Steve McNiven - Star-Lord/Guardians of the Galaxy
Matt Fraction & Mike Allred - Ant-Man/FF
Jeph Loeb & Ed McGuinness - Nova
Dennis Hopeless & Gabriel Hernandez Walta - Cable/Cable & X-Force

The not-certain:

Kieron Gillen & Jamie McKelvie - One would expect Wiccan, Loki, & Miss America (Young Avengers?), but there are conflicting rumors
Nick Spencer & Luke Ross - Young Avengers? Nick Fury, Jr. framing sequence?

Only reason why I'm not putting Gillen YA in the obvious/confirmed column is that it sounds too good to be true and I don't want to get my hopes up. But probably, he's doing that and Spencer is doing the framing sequence that will set up a Fury-centric book, my best guess being a Secret Avengers relaunch.

Omg lol lol lol what is this? That book looks so trash. At least Forge is back, he's one of my favourites. Goddamn I'm getting some serious Liefeld vibes from that book.
