On the PlayStation Network, NiGHTS and Sonic Adventure 2 will be available on October 2 for $9.99 USD, and available October 5 for 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE  Arcade for the Xbox 360.

Very true, but for the "casual" browser, what are they going to look at(and probably buy) first, a Sonic game or Nights? I hope they both sell well, but I might be a little suspicious if one does much better than the other.

It's a port of the PS2 version. The PS2 version doesn't have it. SEGA aren't going to actively add stuff to the game.

JoD is padded like crazy and they botched some of the core mechanics. NiGHTS is a pure, untarnished classic. Not very long unless you're into score attacking, though.

Somehow I misread this as "Lovely, now there isn't a Christmas game" instead of "Lovely, there is no game more Christmas-y than this".

And yes, Christmas NiGHTS is swell. Not a fan of the narration, though, the acting's pretty awful.

I enjoy playing multiplayer in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. The challenges in the game can be pain in the ass sometimes, but mostly in the space level. I don't remember how many emblems I have; however, I do remember I didn't collect all to unlock green hill.
