If you're talking over the course of the tour, that's completely dependent on how long the artist wants to tour.

If you're talking about single venues, that's completely dependent on the venue. In Lady Gaga's last tour, the majority of the US venues were below 15,000.

Wow, I was talking about single venues, I thought that it was much more than that, why they don't use bigger venues?

Venues over 50,000 are more like the exception rather than the rule. Smaller venues mean you can tour in more cities.

Even Tokyo Dome rarely goes up to 60,000.

You are right, I think maybe this happen more in Europe because over here they do only 1/2 concerts for country. Sold out Tokyo Dome is absolutely fantastic.

I was reading on his Wikki how he originally didn't fit the mold for a pop star in his country. Not good looking enough, not a talented enough dancer....

Well look at him now!

Saw the Ellen bit, this shit is outta control. Mad props to this guy for making an amazingly catchy tune and having the balls to dance like a boss.

i was at a mariners game tonight and at one point they started playing the video on the big screen with the title "GANGNAM STYLE RALLY!" and then cutting to people in the crowd doing the horsey dance. JESUS CHRIST!!!!!

Turned TV on to Psy in the middle of the Ellen crowd bouncing around.

Then he said "I'm coming through!" and did that side shuffle out of the aisle. Was awesome

Some of these parodies are really well put together. They manage to preserve the absurdity of the original while putting their own little spin to it.

Just saw a US Navy parody earlier today, those blokes were having such a great time. Deadpool one is pretty awesome as well.

To other Australians, has the craze reached our shores yet? Haven't seen much talk about it on Facebook or radio.

This is amazing. Does anyone know how this korean song has become such an international hit? I'm pretty sure 99% of people listening to it don't even understand what it means. Happy for the guy the though. I also wonder what Korea is making of all of this...

Dunno.

early on it was number 1 in korea, and then for me personally, i heard it on the GSL (starcraft) and it was posted in that thread around mid july.. then i guess it just spread (similar spread from other sub communities / ways of life that are involved with korea) but once it hit mainstream.. it got unstoppable

I've heard it on radio once, not sure how common it's played though as I don't really listen to the radio often. I see it mentioned on FB every now and then but it doesn't really seem like PSY fever has hit Australia in full force.

I was out on the weekend, and I shit you not: 3 times after i peed at varying parties or bars i came out of the toilet to it playing

i was getting VERY paranoid.

A family member showed it to me on youtube while we were on vacation a little over a month ago. I loved it.

I like his song "Right Now" even more. He's good.

So happy for him that his music is spreading... Hope it somehow raises awareness for South Korean culture in this country in the same way that America has been interested in Japanese culture for so many years.

I live in New Zealand, I remember first hearing about the song/video on a morning show here not too long after it was released. I heard it on the radio today too, so if it's getting airtime here it must be in Australia.

Getting bigger and bigger it seems. Heard it on a local hip-hop station here yesterday (San Francisco bay area) and then this morning I was watching this sports talk radio show I catch a lot and they were playing it as a lead in song after a commercial, complete with one of the hosts doing the dance in his chair. They even went into a big discussion about how great the video is and what it really means when something is "Gangnam Style" :lol
