Why wasn't this the first reply? Also, The Wall.

Good call. I would add OK Computer and The Verve's Urban Hymns as well as The Stone Roses to the list. I could probably add a few Beatles records quite easily. A couple others that spring to mind are:

Embrace - The Good Will Out

Ryan_Cover.jpg

Ryan Adams - Easy Tiger

Ryan Adams & the Cardinals - Cardinology

Stereophonics' LSVO comes close but it has a few songs I could live without.

Disc 2.

1. Quiet Daze - The Scenic Route
2. L'usine - Flat
3. Sunpeople - Check Your Buddha (Sven Väth Remix)
4. Steve Bug - A Night Like This (Richie Hawtin's A Night Like That)
5. Tony Senghore - Where Is The Love?
6. Mathias Schaffhaeuser (feat. Rob Taylor) - Hey Little Girl (Extended blue Mix)
7. Samuel L. Sessions - Merengue
8. Christian Morgenstern - Lydia To The Edge Of Panic
9. Auch
10. Two lone Swordsmen - Solo Strike
11. Sensorama - New Aged
12. Aphex Twin - Windowlicker

There's better individual Radiohead tracks out there (Weird Fishes and There There come to mind), but in terms of a perfect album viewed as one cohesive entity, it doesn't get much better than Kid A.
Yes it does. The title track is by far the worst Radiohead song in existence. It's near unlistenable.

Marilyn Manson - Portrait of an American Family - Mechanical Animals
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Kylie Minogue - Fever
The Plasticines - About Love
Switchblade Symphony - The Three Calamities
Fiona Apple - When The Pawn
Garbage - Version 2.0
The Sounds - Living in America
The The - Dusk
Wumpscut - Embryodead

Here are a handful of albums that I consider as not having a single weak track on them. They're perfect 10/10s to me.

oasis - Definitely Maybe

oasis - (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

This.

I think Masterplan is incredible; their b-sides are always of impressive quality, but I wouldn't say it's perfect.

Looking through the thread i think i'll add to the list:

A perfect circle
NIN- And all that could have been
Jane addiction - nothings shocking

Switchblade Symphony - The Three Calamities
Wumpscut - Embryodead

*high five*

Embryodead would definitely be on my list too. I think Rudy peaked on that album, and after that it's been downhill all the way. Switchblade Symphony are pretty good too, with their weirdish goth trip hop thing.

;) Dylan for the win! I'd also put The Freewheeling and Bob Dylan (his first) in there.

I'd have added The Freewheelin, but I'm not big on Bob Dylan's Blues and Talking World War III. Though, Blowin' In The Wind and A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall are so far beyond amazing maybe they make up for them...

I could never get into his first album knowing almost all the songs are covers. :(

There are just many great album. I'd out artists I love that have perfect albums

The Beatles
Bob Dylan
Led Zeppelin
Radiohead
Pink Floyd
The Rolling Stones
The Beach Boys (In this case Pet Sounds)
The Velvet Underground
The Who
Jimmy Hendrix
Bob Marley

Awesome covers that is.
His version of House of the Rising Sun is my favorite version.

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

:)

Screw it, credibility be damned.

Perfect pop album. Ironically, "Turn it Off" is the only weak link.

I think "Careful" and "Ignorance" are flat out awesome tracks. And though I despise the whole Twilight guff, "Decode" is an awesome love song.

"How did we get here?
I used to know you so well."

I love that lyric.

can we veto posts?

... and I actually like Paramore.

I love Dylan, The Times They Are A-Changin is a terrible album. So goddamn samey and has no soul or life to it. A good song or two on there though.

The albums surrounding it are excellent.

Pearl Jam - Ten

I can easily listen to this whole album many times over; amazing to me.

Dave Matthews Band - Under the Table and Dreaming

DMB gets a hard time but this album is sick from beginning to end.

I consider Exile on Main St to be perfect. 18 songs and brilliant from beginning to end.

Also, that first Violent Femmes album is pretty much perfect.
