US PSN: Spend $100 during October, get $20 back

As others have said, this might be doable for me with the Day One preorders. I think I'm going to jump on Dishonored, at the very least.

Edit: And Okami. So I'm at almost $75 bucks already.
 
Good to know. I have been contemplating between Borderlands 2 and Dishonored. I may get both and will get enough back to buy my Dark Souls DLC.

Man this is awesome for me. Getting RE6, Dishonored, and AC3 so that's an easy $100. If only X-Com made the Day 1 digital list.
 
Eh, Im only interested in getting Okami and thats only $20 anyway. Sounds like its a good deal for those interested in the day 1 digital titles.

Edit: I see what it is, my friend (the server provider) only allows https:// for his domains.

Has it been confirmed that PS+ subscriptions count? I've been thinking about just biting the bullet and paying for a full year of Plus for a few months now... I've gotten three month subs twice in the past 8 months or so.
 
I remember the last time they did this, and I didn't spend the required amount in the window they stated but I still got the credit for some unknown reason. Hope it happens again! Lol
 
Well, I'll buy myself a year of Plus in October then and maybe Doom... so this would only require I buy another game or so if I really wanted the extra $20.

Does this count with PS+? So, if I bought 2 $50 cards and used them all on a year of PS+, and assorted games in Oct. would I qualify for the rebate?
 
those knuckleheads.. i wish they did this when Madden came out.

I would've bought both the PS3 & Vita versions digitally....instead I both the physical one off craigslist for some savings.

PS3 Madden 59.99 + 39.99..and the cheapest DLC possible..maybe $0.05 DLC??? = Madden for both $80.

or just some cheap game I would've got anyway. Either way Sony/EA could've had all my money.
 
Let's see...October starts Monday, so that'll be Tokyo Jungle for $12. Jet Set Radio on Vita for $10. Okami HD for $20. I'm not sure what else is coming out in October that are PSN games so I don't know if I could really hit $100 sadly.

Perfect time for Toys R Us or Target to have some 10% off PSN cards sale though.
 
For those with a vita Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward comes out on the 23rd iirc I'll be picking it up. If only P4 The Golden came out in Oct I'd have a fighting chance :(

I'm getting all of those, so there's $42 right off the bat. Add in a year of PS+ for $50, there's $92.

I wonder if Ratchet will hit in October...
 
Was going to get Doom 3 BFG anyway. And if PS+ sub (in my case, re-sub) counts, might go ahead and add that, since I'm out in December.

During last year's promotion buying the ps plus sub from the ps store counted toward the $60 total so it should count this year as well. I doubt putting in codes from the physical cards will count.

But you could theoretically redeem $50 worth of credit and buy the PS+ 12mo on the store, correct?
 
I was thinking of picking up Siren but it's still $40 which is a lot for such an old game. Doesn't that game have yearly Halloween sales?
 
Rats. Just bought Tokyo Jungle and a bunch of pinball packs. This seems pretty do-able even not buying any day 1 releases. Not sure how I feel about that. If buying plus counts, then i guess I'm in for another year.

If they are having a 10% off PSN cards sale, I need to go get one.

Yeah. That's exactly what I did last year. Just added the thing about the cards for people that have a pile from the target pricing snafu and were thinking about redeeming them.

Well, I think it is getting more prevalent now than it was before. That might go to help explain the rapid increase in day one PS3 digital releases on PSN now more than ever before. Sony is obviously seeing something that is encouraging them to really start pushing full retail digital downloads. I mean, it is likely thanks in large part from a much bigger profit margin on the download (cutting out the retailer) but I can't see Sony really putting such a heavy focus on it if there wasn't too much interest to make it worth it. At any rate, I'll be doing it more, especially since I just bought Borderlands 2 and my brother bought NHL 13, both through PSN.

I think this is quite an awesome deal, personally. I intend to buy Resident Evil 6, MoH: Warfighter and Assassin's Creed 3 through PSN and I'll pick up Killzone HD too... getting $20 back from that is pretty awesome.
 
Damn, if this new came out a few days ago, I would have held off from buying Journey and Tokyo Jungle. I would have felt the pressure as well to buy Little King's Story.
