Hard tackles, multiple schemes, blitz galore
The way it works is the D feeds off the O's possession of bleeding that clock
Multiple runs, offsets, and the occasional decent pass to gain yardage
Recently it's all Topsy-turvy now
The D gets destroyed by the 3 and Outs over and over and over
No time to breathe, recoup, set-up for next set, so everything is done off the cuff, Jets D fail due to other teams realizing that
That is why Kap all of a sudden became a stand-out, it took 1 quarter for Jets D to adjust, if Jets prolonged even 1 or 2 series at least 5+ minutes, the Jets D would catch up
TL;DR
D feeds off O, if O incompetent and 3 & Out multiple sets, D suffers
Play Calling goes from set plays to Catch-Up to the other teams scheme, and 75% with-out smart skilled players... you are going to fail, fail fucking hard!

I actually think Charles is really really good, but with possibly the worst QB in the league in Cassel, it's hard for him to do much.
