Why do FGC majors always use the worst commentators? I don't get the mentality. People don't want random dudes hoping on the mic to do shitty commentary. Why can't we get more good commentators in the FGC =(

Problem is, they're not random dudes. Often they're just people who have been in the community a long time and that's the reason they get passes even if they're bad commentators.

Plus commentators aren't really paid or scheduled, so people mostly do whatever they want.

isn't it different? EWGF is just a tight timing to press a button. Strider OTG is doing 2 moves thus more input ontop of the timing.

Don't you have to dash back as well with strider to combo after the OTG as well?

basically more room for error.

It's a volunteer position with no monetary reward and almost every commentator in the community is under the mistaken impression that they need to pay attention to the chat, when they don't, and shouldn't.

It's kind of an extension of the generally lax organization that leads to most tournaments running behind by a good 3 to 4 hours even though DECADES of experience at this point should have led to somewhat tighter schedules. By the time things are going 45-50 minutes over per event, the organizers don't give a shit who's talking.

Your not the only person but you are in the minority. Use Chrome if you aren't already.

Right, but a EWGF as a juggle fill is the shortest amount of fames imaginable and top players do it consistently. I was just agreeing it was weird that people have issues with Strider combos in match, mostly because I have a friend who hits shit consistently in casuals and still messes up in tournament. In short, Strider players are chokers ;)

I know exactly what a EWGF is and it's not as hard as that I already said that.

This is Marvel though... people mess up all sorts of combos. Faster game, more nerves and more variables to consider. Once Strider players get better they will start hitting it more consistenly.

His Dante team is way better. Mostly because Magneto is at the back which is better than Hawkeye in the back. He also won his first major in Ultimate with the Dante team.
