I remember hearing that the 1.81 update itself blocked the MH exploits, but the readme in that download from hiroi01 states that it is for 1.81.

The exploit was patched in 1.81. They didn't need to take it down.

PS3 requires PS Vita to be logged in to the PSN to transfer anything. Unless you are using OpenCMA on your pc you will be required to be online no matter which to transfer anything.

edit: Japan just can't understand the logic of selling a game to console and handheld at the same time (especially sony logic to sell them both at 1 price) when they can just sold one of them at different time in different packaging and get some people to buy twice rather than selling both in the same time and people will most likely just buy one version of them. see Disgaea and Persona games too. is anyone ever doubted that Disgaea 4 will get a handheld release in the future?

SF x Tekken is its' own mess that has little bearing on Tekken itself. Dark Resurrection was a huge hit on PSP, and Tekken 6 sold more on PSP than Prime on 3DS even though the later was already dead by the time 6 launched.
