Patrick "I don't know anything about Star Trek, don't pan to me." KLEPTOCK

I dunno why but that made me laugh :P

Gamebomb still gets more youtube views then Giant Bomb.

I guess thats what happens when you review games 6 months before they are released.

I still like to think that site is run by a Russian version of Dave who loves to play janky american PC games.

I kind of admire the lengths to which Giant Bomb's Russian doppelgangers went in their ripping off, review portraits and everything.

He writes how he talks. He uses too many words to express very little. This isn't a grr, I don't like the way Patrick writes. His articles are genuinely terribly written. It reads like someone who wants to be a writer very badly but never actually received criticism.

Not to mention "If you love yourself some Deus Ex" is just a poorly transcribed colloquialism. His reads like how he would talk on the bombcast, not how an actual review should be written.

I don't think there's anything wrong with this if it's done in moderation. Sometimes breaking the rules of grammar and proper writing is OK if it adds character and reflects your personal style. I would prefer a grammatically flawed but sincere review to something that reads like a book report.

does Dave have a twitter account?

After watching ILM this week, something I've always wondered is why they still have to buy their own games that they're covering. I know some companies don't send their products to any company for coverage (probably because it's shit), but seems weird they still have do that themselves like they're a start-up and not have the cbsi mothership and the underlings ship a copy for them as early as possible. Guess it's just faster to go into a retail store and face the humiliation of buying a Dragon Ball Z kinect game in-person.

They're going to make Brad wear a silk Goku shirt when they send him out to fetch the game.

It pains me to say i had one of these when i was like 16.

I remember being at daytona beach about 12 years ago and going in a suncoast store and buying it for like $35-40 and ended up selling it to a friend who was even more of a die hard fan than me for $50. Thankfully i never actually wore it in public but i bought it because we didn't have anything like that where i live and DBZ was probably in it's peak at the time, back when we FINALLY got the rest of the namek saga over here.

I remember we only got up to the ginyu and stuff and it took years for funimation to bring the rest over, so long that i just said fuck it and ordered the complete series on VHS from ebay and they ended up being really shitty. Like when you download a youtube video and upload it and then download the new uploaded video and upload that and rinse and repeat out 300 times. Quality was complete shit.

It's not always because it's shit. Sometimes you do get copies of games, but the publisher strings for reviewing off that copy of the game are too restricting. So in those cases, even if you were sent a copy, it might be better to just wait for release and buy your own to review it.

Dear lord.

I'm probably missing something but why doesn't Brad just play ME3 on a PC after using a save file creator?

ahh makes sense.

Has anyone received their "China Don't Care"/"Fuck Ryan Davis" t-shirt yet, or at least an email saying that it has shipped?

I got a shipping confirmation email on like the 2nd or something for my China shirt, and as for member shirts, I seem to remember them saying the CDC/FRD shirts were taking printing priority.
