Why doesn't Obama just say "hey dumbass, the deficits are so high because we are in recession." Revenues down, spending up duh.
And this stupid "small business tax crap".
It doesn't work like that. Taxes are after profit. They are irrelevant to profit maximization. Silly supply side economics. Raising taxes on businesses has no guarantee of creating jobs, they may or may not. Especially since only the businesses that would make over $250,000 would get a tax hike anyway. If they make that much, then they already have the capital to create jobs if they want.
The only taxes that should be cut are individual income taxes. Then people have money to demand more goods and thus drive business to create jobs to satisfy that demand.
Demand side policy have always proven more efficient than supply side in creating jobs.
