46% to 39% CNN poll for Obama. NICELY DONE!
But Romney will. Once he's president.GOVERNMENT DOES NOT CREATE JOBS
GOVERNMENT DOES NOT CREATE JOBS
Dude, he said somehing like these are people who won't take responsibility for themselves.
I'm pretty sure he is talking about Democrats who aren't going to vote for him because they have a clear inclination to either see the President in the best possible light or him in the worst possible light. Again, I admit that he didn't phrase it the best way, but it's pretty clear that was the message he was getting at.

Holy shit, Poli-GAF post of the year, maybe the decade.![]()
"Why do we fall, Barack?"
![]()
"So we can learn to pick ourselves back up."

So you'd rather he just write them off with no explanation? Or lying? When did he say they were leeches? What do you call them? He said they believe they are entitled. Why? There's a lot of things I'd like too be entitled to, but I'm not.

Yes. Its one thing to say that you can't reach them for your vote.
Its an entirely different universe to then say those 47% are victims, entitled, and cannot be convinced to take personal responsibility for their lives.
His words, nobody else's. No spin. The entire tape is available.
This election should have been over the day these words rang out. Its been a shameful farce every day since.
That binders full of women things is ridiculous. I am an Obama guy but its clear Romney was talking about a binder of resumes. It didnt feel like a gaff at the time and it doesnt now either.
There are many other things Romney did during that debate which are mockworthy, that one isnt.
Wow. That's impressive, even for dickless CNN. I would've assumed they just went for the standard "draw" (with the polling base leaning republican for no reason whatsoever) as always.
Maybe a fair point outside of this forum, but holy shit, don't say this on GAF.

As it always needed to be. What a perfect way to end that debate. It is basically going to be his "Read my lips" downfall comment.

At least Republicans support their guy no matter what. Democrats threw Obama under the bus.
She did add the context though, with her also confirming the whole 14 (? I forget how many it was) days thing literally right after she made that remark. Romney was just completely flustered and fucked up the one sure bet he had.
OMFG!
Link?
So people who work in the public sector aren't considered having a job?
Woman: "Mister Romney, how do you feel about women inequality?"
Mitt: "I love women. I send them home early to make dinner."
Me: "Uhh..."
He was so incredibly condescending and his view on women specifically is so backwards and just plain wrong that I don't mind the binders of women thing. It's hilarious and about how he feels about women and their role in society.

'Pretty much'. As in, the government doesn't have total control over the economy. But Romney's campaign would make you think employment would be back to normal if Obama was not president.
you missed this part

Can someone explain the women binder thing, I didn't see the whole debate
I'd rather he not write them off at all, because that's basically a level of arrogance that we haven't seen in an ostensible democracy since Oliver Cromwell, but let that pass.
I call them "people." And, frankly, if you don't think people are entitled to food and shelter, then I'm not sure what I'd call you. Except "out of touch with reality." That one's kind of a gimme.
Cnn just flipflopped on its own poll. Smh.
