Finished I Vampire vol 1, liked it quite a bit, especially the art at times. I'll get vol 2 when it comes out 3 years from now. I wonder if the Vampire angle held it back though as far as sales go, that it's not tied directly 100% into a dc universe franchise but feels like a vertigo book that branches into the dc universe on occasion.

For what it's worth, the Silver Centurion is still fondly remembered and shows up a lot in marvel video games.

Don't know anything about it.
I liked X-Men 2 Baldur's Gate rip-off on PSP and. . . uhhhh. . . sadly that was it. Ultimate Marvel Alliance was a bit shit. I didn't like how they changed the level up and teamwork mechanics.
Plus X-Men 2 lost points for NOT giving you a Fastball Special bonus when you used Colossus and Wolverine. WTF Ravensoft? W.T.F?! >:|

Not to mention how badly they butchered the combat mechanics going from legends to ultimate alliance.
I am in the closed beta, actually. I am afraid I can't give any information what I see in there because I am under contract, but the game is pretty sick.

Yeah, it's like they threw out everything from XML2 for UMA. Really unfortunate.
I don't like the game mechanics and I find the premise stupid as f*ck. Marvel characters would curb stomp Capcpom characters all day for free.
Give me DC Vs. Marvel and we'll talk.
Shit, I'd take Marvel Vs. Image, or any other comic publisher vs. any other comic publisher before shitty video game characters I don't care about Vs. iconic comic characters with massive power levels.
And now that it's all shitty 3D the novelty of seeing Japanese artists drawing the characters is gone too. Outside of the completely fucking amazing Shinkiro artwork.

Street Fighter and Resident Evil characters, maybe. I feel like Amatarasu, The Devil May cry characters, Dark Stalker characters and Mike Haggar have a good shot.

MvC2 is the best. Love that game despite the balance and boring high level play. Get some games going with characters that aren't the top six and it's such a blast. Dat Guile.

No way, man. Mvc3's roster is so much better that Mvc2's. It actually has a good representation of Marvel and Capcom and isn't just X-men vs Street Fighter plus some friends.
Akuma is a SF character that could for sure hold his own against a bunch of Marvel dudes. He strong. And a raging demon.

MvC2 was awesome. I can't believe they dropped so many XMen from that game. RIP Psylocke, Gambit, Iceman, Cyclops, Rogue, etc. MvC3 was a joke in terms of roster.

Yes. There's also the fact that DC and Marvel are now both owned by giant, competing entertainment conglomerates, and that neither Disney nor WB might be too eager to approve any product that effectively promotes its competitor's IP.

thank god marvel recognized this in mvc 2 and made all the marvel characters overwhelmingly powerful

They're planning on doing the beta in phases. The very first one is said to be extremely limited in terms of player count, but they'll gradually open up more slots as they feel comfortable showing it to a broader audience.

Batwoman #13 was pretty good. I know it's redundant at this point, but the art is so good. Batwoman also plays off Wonder Woman pretty well with all the haunted/magical stuff Batwoman deals with.

I absolutely love the Morrison Doom Patrol, but I also really like the original Arnold Drake Doom Patrol. It had a solid ending too, and Morrison takes and builds on a lot of stuff that happened in that run.
I haven't liked anything else Doom Patrol I've come across. Well, besides the episode of the Brave and the Bold cartoon they were in.

I finally read Uncanny Avengers and thought it was okay. The last page though convinced me to continue reading it. I thought it would have been a good starting point to follow some of the main story lines. It wasn't. I only have some understanding of the plot due to reading some of the posts in this thread about AvX.
Only if I can be Jean, Dr. Strange or Hawkeye. Preferably Jean.
