Jeff is living the dream. If I had the spare cash I would dive head first into a serious Skylanders addiction. It looks like so much fun (but then again I've always been partial to mindless hack and slashing - I enjoy DW after all)

I don't know when the better quality will go up on GB.
Do what I did as a kid: collect colourful rocks. Granite isn't worth a lot, but I can find enough of it to match the value of anything you can come up with. I know a guy.
I went to bestbuy to try and buy the old skylanders game and a few figures before this one came out. it is still CRAZY expensive. To buy the game + have a character of every type is spending a minimum of $100

I subscribe to disable ads and because I enjoy their content, and even buy ad free android app for the same reason, but there's a point where the ads just ruin the look of the default experience. That full site skin ad looks awful.

My tolerance for video ads is completely dependent on the length of the content I'm going to watch. If I decide to watch a Twitch stream or GSL, I'm going to be watching for probably 20 min +, so I'm not typically bothered too much with a 30 second ad. A nonskippable 30 second ad on youtube for a 2 min video is ridiculous.

Just a correction here: Primal Carnage is not out this week.
It just slightly expanded the closed beta last week, and still needs a bit of polish

Well, they have to finish Single Player (Which even by CoD short campaign standards probably takes a day), play a good enough amount of multiplayer to get a feel for it, and since it is a Treyarch CoD there is also Zombies to check out especially since it has been greatly expanded in BO2. I definitely think it would be tough to get through all that in just one day.
