Not sure where else to ask this question at this point, but is Lego Batman 2 worth $10 on Vita?

(Edit: Not a sale, but I can get it for $10.)

Yes. Yes it is. I played through over the summer and enjoyed it.

New Page: Buy Gravity Rush and Mutant Blobs Attack! Buy Assassin's Creed III: Liberation! Show western developers that native, full featured, Vita games are worth their time!

also I would love to know what the port is for next to the card slot. I hope they actually utilize it, it could be something awesome.

If something does use it we'll probably never get it in North America like the PSP camera, or the PSP GPS and TV tuner.

So obviously it'll be a UMD reader.

Can never have enough Lego games

There are a fucking blast to play

Platinums to Boot!

The PS3 version was so much fun, a little grindy but the characters oozed charisma + charm

I'm ready for a part 3 already

What if you already own those 2?
Are GR DLC's worth it, those 3 packs?

I didn't bother with the Vita platinum. It had any arena mode that seemed grindy to me.

Speaking of LEGO games, I'm suspicious if LotR Vita will really be in stores next week since the console versions were delayed. Guess I'll have to wait and see if I have the game in my Vita one week from now.

I think I might need to start wearing my PlayStation® Brand Touchscreen Gloves while playing MBA because every 10 minutes the screen gets so smudged up I can barely tell a cow from a laser >:(

BTW, am I blind or does it not indicate anywhere what the minimum scores are to get the silver and gold medals?

I haven't played MBA in a while, but I don't remember using the touch screen at all. Can't you play with just the sticks and buttons?

I'm seriously jealous that you have those gloves. I'm a greasy mess an hour after I take a shower plus I sweat a lot like my mother. ):

Good thing is that I won't have any wrinkles later in life!

Sry vita has no games.
Exactly, that's why I'm thinking PSP games!

PSP didn't have games either, what are you talking about?Psone maybe?that had a couple of games i guess.....

but RO :(

I might jump aboard the space blobwagon though

You need to buy these games next week. Yes, your wallet will cry. But both you and your Vita will be happy:

- Ragnarok Odyssey
- Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
- Need For Speed: Most Wanted

if you can I am missing something HUGE

Just fired it up. Touch screen is only used for "telekinesis" with panels. Forgot about those parts.

And I also didn't realize that MBA had a patch released!

Ubisoft are really going for AC3 and Liberation. I barely watch TV, and I've seen the ad 7 times today I think. It's okay Ubi/Sony. I already have it pre-ordered!

As for Vita's, I have the Wi-Fi model. Never really leaves the house. Besides even if I used Near, none of my friends are Vita owners. All PS3, so 3G is unnecessary for me

Uncharted is hard on Vita :|

Where are you stuck? Is it the aiming?

I will tell you now that I am a TERRIBLE gamer. I love games, but I'm categorically shit at all of them. Uncharted was fairly easy for the most part apart from 2 parts that are the idea of someone who loves to torture people by removing the last chapter of a 7 novel series.

I finished it on Crushing yesterday with no real problems apart from those bits. Gyro aiming should be in all shooters.

There's a really cool Liberation advert around too. I really like it :D

None of my friends have Vitas either but there's just something i love about NEAR. I love seeing the distance tick up too. I don't know why.

On crushing yes.

I'm playing on hard, and the analog...not to take anything away from it, but it's just not the ones you find on a Dualshock 3. And yes, I have the motion aiming turned off.

It takes me an extra second to aim, but the enemies deal as much damage as their console brethren, so I spend a lot of time hiding to regain health or have to resort to "cheating" the corner.

Just finished my first playthough so I'm gonna start my Crushing run now. How hard is it compared to the other Uncharted games on Crushing?

EDIT: Never mind. I thought you were playing on Crushing for some reason. Yeah the analogs were weird, but I learned to use gyro aiming for fine tuning. Works wonders

I see it on Dave and E4 all the time. NFS:MW as well

Did you download the latest patch?

The touch stuff in MBA isn't all bad. Sometimes it's pretty clever. But I find the sensitivity way too high so I'm frequently accidentally shooting myself to my doom or getting squished by something. More generally, one of the things about touch controls that pisses me off is they often force you to obscure a large part of the screen during situations where that can be especially frustrating.

For obvious reasons, I've never had this complaint with the DS and 3DS because of how those systems are designed.

Honestly I couldn't have played it without the motion aiming. Turn it up to max and sort out which way you like your axis switched and it's glorious. use the analogue to get in the general direction and then the motion aim to pop off headshots.

It does take getting used to however I remember everyone saying the same around launch.

Just finished my first playthough so I'm gonna start my Crushing run now. How hard is it compared to the other Uncharted games on Crushing?

It seemed easier than I remember the first run through on Hard. Though I have no idea why, maybe I was just used to the aiming more. I finished my first run around launch and started my Crushing a few days ago though so it had been a while.

Never really had any problems with the touch stuff in MBA. The option to use the rear touch instead of the front would have been nice though for the reasons you mention.

I originally suggested that feature to Yoshida about the browser when it first launched and they eventually added in the ability to use the rear pad to scroll and stuff which was cool.

Yeah i see it on Dave and E4 too (i'll never admit it to her but the girlfriend has gotten me watching Big Bang Theory). NFS advert is pretty good yeah. Good to see SCEE trying to market the Vita this christmas.

Didn't PSP perform better in UK & EU than in the US? If so, I'd only hope that SCEE would give Vita the same support.

RO is an 80-100% for me, provided I can import fine.

ACL is a 40-50%, the only other AC I've played is 2 which I enjoyed but wasn't overwhelmed to get the rest. Based on reviews and money available, we'll see.

NFS, meh. Not that bothered about racing games on Vita

you're too good at everything monochopsingkoi
So good I haven't even beat GR yet. :p

let me know how GEB is if you play it, still tempted.

That dungeon crawler game that Kadokawa is making sounds so silly/awesome. The screen at the bottom brought some sense to this part of that siliconera post:

Famitsu teases that some not safe for work things can happen between you and Fran.

I wonder if they'll go all Witcher on us and let you collect cards for all the women you bone. Going to try unlocking more characters for free roam tonight in RCR. Wish me luck! ... the minecraft styled character keeps reminding me of how much I wish it was on Vita ;(

Maybe speaking too soon, but I feel I'll get through it faster as well. No more need to get distracted with treasures and I can have the right weapons on now. Too many times I found myself with a Shotgun when I would have loved an M4/FAL

Hey Big Bang is good! Didn't like it at first but it grew on me. And SCEE have always advertised the Vita well in the UK. Seen far more Vita ads than PS3 in the last few months. It's always FIFA or LBP Vita and now Assassins Creed. Never PS3 only

I heard back from Bloober Team regarding A-Men for North America.

yes we are working on North America’s version of the game on PS3. Hopefully it will be ready till the end of the year.

Why did they write PS3?
:(

Well my issues with certain sections of the game aren't anything I can't get past. It's charming and polished, with some clever level design and a surprisingly good soundtrack. Even the art style, which I was previously not a fan of, has grown on me significantly.

I'm about 70% through now and having a jolly ol' time :)

Yeah same, hated it at first but her making me watch it has made it grow on me. Now i quite like it...:|

Anyway yeah they have done, but they've really ramped it up since LBP came out. There weren't many adverts about around launch (in fact, i don't think i saw any for it around launch), but they're doing a bang up job at the moment :)

It's out on PS3 too, i guess they thought you meant that version.

lol, opposite for me. I used to love Big Bang, now I can't stand it >.<

It happened some time during the last season where I just asked myself why I was still watching this show, and couldn't find an answer.

Speaking of GEB, is it possible to get the DLC onto my Vita?
You can transfer it from your PS3. :x

So good I haven't even beat GR yet. :p

I haven't beaten it yet either. ): 6th chapter, I think.

i'll tell you how it is if you play RO with me when you get it, fair trade right

Good luck! I've only found the Minecraft one.
