The name's Whitebear...well, my last name is. I rarely go by my first name anymore. 27, back in school after a long while, and I love me some GAF.

If funding mean getting scholarships or loans, it should be the same as the ones for Ph.D's. I got a bunch of student loans for grad school (which suck but I love my education so whatcha gonna do?). If you mean income, again it varies and depends what you want to do. But know it is not a huge money maker, but if your creative you can be quite successful. Glad to be of help.

Hello everyone! My name's Alfredo. I'm 24 years old. I'm from Texas, I graduated in graphic design a year ago but only from a community college. I'm currently unemployed but that'll change soon. Hopefully.

I recently joined GAF and I hope to get to know everyone at least a little bit better.
 
Hello, GAF! My name's Desmond and I'm a 19-year-old (20 in January) English major (journalism) from Toronto. I love the Pokémon series and just about any fighting/action game, but I'm not so big on any FPS that isn't Team Fortress 2. My favourite movies are Toy Story 1-3, Hot Fuzz, and Koyaanisqatsi, I enjoy The Walking Dead in every form, and my favourite books are World War Z, the Bartimaeus trilogy, and the Vinyl Café series. I don't have too many good friends in real life, but I feel a real connection to some of the people I've met through GAF. I'm very close with my family and I've been told I'm a good listener. I'm also currently in the process of creating a web show with my friends called "Boss Rush," but that's still on the horizon. I love Italian and Spanish food, but my peanut allergy limits what I can enjoy. My favourite band is Pendulum, and my favourite songs are Time by Hans Zimmer (which will play at my funeral if I have any say in it) and Libera Me from Hell (from Gurren Lagann).

Sorry for the mini-biography, but I'm just fascinated to learn about people.

Studying for a PHD in neuroscience

GAF (in a way) and my GF helped me through a tough time last year, doing much better although i've got shingles right now, which sucksss lol
 
My name is jay. have a wonderful girlfriend that moved 7 hours so i could follow my dreams. Im balding. My dream in life is to be a reality tv producer. Ive worked some cool shows the last few months but im still learning the business and paying my dues. Ive had some Regrets in my life but it has caused me to to become a stronger person for it.

I'm Matt from Ontario, Canada - near Lake Huron and I'm 28. I'm a stay at home dad who takes care of my fourteen month old little girl with special needs. Generally just observe most threads and quip here and there.

I currently work at IBM Canada, and plan to start getting my BS in Computing Science at the University of Alberta in a few years (after I pay off my current student loan, from NAIT). Hi, my name is Alex and I'm 27. I'm male. I live in Illinois. At the moment, I work at a store trying to save as much money as I can. I'm hoping to go to college in a couple years. I enjoy watching movies, reading books, watching anime, reading manga, listening to music and playing games. (obviously) I'm very close to my family. My ethnicity is 100% Vlach, which is a dying ethnicity based throughout the Balkans. They have their own language and culture.

Ready for the snow to start? Last year was my first real winter as I'm from California so I'm hoping I deal with snow better this year lol

My Fiancee is also doing a PhD in Neuroscience.

She is on her last months before doing her thesis.

It was snowing a tiny bit on my way to work but not much. I was an SLC native until I married and moved to Springville. Last year's snow wasn't as bad as some years. I am honestly hoping for more this year. It should start soon though.

I still play 3-5 hours of Games a night. I have a Halo Tattoo on my right arm. Master Chief saved me from some of the dark times of my life.

I was diagnosed with cancer while playing MGS 4. Thankfully that was 4 years ago, and still in the clear. Although I have my major check ups coming up soon.

I am hyped for Blops 2 and Halo 4.

I smoke hookah like you would not believe. 6 hours a night going on 17 years.

Hey guys, I love reading everyone's bios. There's some interesting people on here, much more than I.
My name is Shay, turning 21 in < a month. Currently I'm a junior in University studying Economics/Psychology. I reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico (yes I cook meth, tons of it). I also work ~30 hours a week at a student employment job. Random and strange life I've found myself in.

I have a couple hobbies as of late. I've been making a lot of beadsprites (they're addicting as all hell). I've also been watching The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, as well as reading GoT. I'm an avid reader and have accumulated enough books to make moving a pain.
 
Hello, my name is Jeff, just turned 26. Born in Taiwan, went to Los Angeles when I was 10, went through elementary/middle school/HS/Uni and worked in LA for ~14 years. Now I'm in Dongguan, China, running my own trading/sourcing company, and my customers range from small start ups to Fortune 500 companies. Most likely gonna be attending an Executive MBA program in Shanghai starting in Dec, so I will be attending class and running my company at the same time. Love modding cars, got an Audi A4 back in the States and BMW X1 in China! I also smoke weed almost every day :) Successful stoner FTW!

My name is Chris. I'm 24 and live in the great city of Chicago! Im completely mixed of ethnicity (Mexican, Assyrian, Arabic, etc) and I'm a senior in college. My degree is Psychology with a plan to go into Clinical Psychology. Originally planned for Computer Science but man, that was such a bad idea. I've been on GAF for a very long time (since 2001-2002 I think) and been a active member since.

I'm also a photographer and help run a photography company as its President, but i also recruit fellow artists in the Chicago area to be recognized. I also work, under contract, for a cool googly company (dunno if Im allowed to mention it but I figure a hint will work) and I work in Human Resources for them.
 
Hi GAF!

My name is Chris, from the middle of England, and I recently turned 22; just last week actually! I graduated in the summer with a BSc in Computer Gameplay Design & Production which has left me with a wide variety of opportunities as you can imagine :P

Currently unemployed looking for regular work to save up some cash to eventually move out of home and live the independent life. I can't wait for that. Some say it'll be lonely, but having my own place (even if it's tiny, which it would be) and doing my own thing sounds like heaven to me. Find new friends, go out once in a while, have a steady career...Honestly cannot wait. Eventually I want to move abroad, preferably to the US of A, but who knows if that will happen.

I'm into games, movies, graphics, photography and all the latest gadgets and tech-y stuff. I also enjoy looking at the stars and asking all those impossible questions about space and where we came from and what's out there.

Anyways, my name is Jon and I turned 20 two weeks ago. Im currently in school to be a plumber and eventually a Pipe Fitter. I have been browsing Neogaf for about 6 years now I believe but recently set up an account. Oh yeah, I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
