I'm a UCF fan. So by default I dislike the Gatas. And people that cheer for them while going to a different school upsets me. So I like their tears.

And I just don't like the Gatas. Outside of athletics their alumni along with other larger state schools are usually good for attempting to block advances of other universities since it isn't in their best interests.

For instance, UCF got their medical school in spite of schools like UF, not because of. And of course as soon as it gets approved and built, UF angles to get a research facility at the UCF medical city. Stuff like that annoys me.

pffft at least you were allowed to buld a medical school. ASU has been trying to build one for 20 years but the ABOR (runs all state universities in the state) does not allow ASU to build a medical school. ABOR also rejected ASC's attempt to become a university in the 50's until the school and community put the issue on the general ballot and became ASU in 1958 by popular vote. FUCK ABOR AND FUCK U OF A. Bunch of a chickenshit ball-garglers
 
There's a pretty decent chance New Mexico will become bowl eligible this year. That's nothing short of amazing considering their record over the past few years. 3 total wins over 3 years I think?
 
I am concerned because FL has not really been able to stop GA's run game. But GA basically has stopped FL's.

But...second half team and all that jazz, I guess.

Yeah, definitely fortunate and I know there are schools in worse position than us. It was a long battle and a lot of people expected it to fail.

This is a state that essentially denied UCF a dental school even though UCF was able to show it was completely privately funded and would be a net positive on the economy. Larger schools didn't want the competition and lobbied the state to go against it. We had to withdraw the proposal.

I don't hate the Gatas - I know they are an amazing institution. But they're not the only ones. I just like to see them lose on the field/court! USF, though, can go DIAF.
 
And the Lattimore thread continues soccer fans 100% success rate of shitting up every thread with "football" in the title other than this one and the NFL one.

Edit: My bad, NFL thread has no word "football."
