Sush. Beast Wars was one of the best Transformers series. You really need to give TF Prime a chance too.
Also, I cant believe in less than four days Ill be playing another Assassins Creed, but not as Ezio. He grew on me so much that I think I had a mancrush on him.

Beast Wars was rad, I don't remember anything about it but I watched it quite a bit as a kid on YTV and remember really enjoying it.
I'm pretty hyped for Assassin's Creed III but I don't think I'll have time to play it right away (not to mention Dishonoured and XCOM which I still have to dig into). Hoping it turns out well, I absolutely love the setting/era.

About start my first play through if Baten Kaitos. Gaygaf better be right about this.
Wasn't aware of GayGAF hype around it. I didn't play much but I liked it at the time (although my tastes have changed a bit since - specifically away from JRPGs). Battle system was interesting though. Let us know how it goes, curious if it holds up.

Well I've got BK1 and Origins. I heard Origins is better, but everyone suggest to play the first.
The voice acting is pretty stiff so far. Graphics are nice, love pre rendered backgrounds.

I only played it for about two hours. Couldn't stand the battles. Battles ruin most RPGs for me though, they're such a time sink and add so little to the experience (for me at least). I could only deal with it in Chrono Trigger and the Golden Sun games. I would have played a lot more RPGs if they had a battle system like the Zelda games.

Yeah I just killed the first boss and have no idea what I did.
The Baten Kaitos series is probably the most fun I've had playing the battle system. I actually wanted to battle and level up because racking up chains and combos was so gratifying.
After Origins, I tried going back to BK1 again but they improved everything drastically in BKO, which made it a bit painful.
Really hope this series makes it either to the 3DS or Wii U.

You should try this series.
I enjoyed Tales of Symphonia's battle system but I didn't like the rest. The Golden Sun games are still my favorite. Maybe the Shining games are for me?
I will never understand why Camelot suddenly started making Mario Golf and Tennis games.
You should try Vesperia or Graces. Best battles systems yet (on the west). Vesperia is an evolution of Symphonia's LMBS (it goes Symphonia -> Abyss -> Vesperia).

You definitely should try out Tales of Vesperia if you have a 360 or Graces if you've got a PS3... both great battle systems although the story is much better in vesperia. Seriously, Symphonia is a 10 year old game. You should give the series a chance, its amazing.
I don't have any gaming consoles/handhelds at the moment and don't think I'll ever buy one again. Maybe a SNES because I really want to replay Yoshi's Island.

I don't really game much anymore either. Disenfranchised by most shooters being nooby and casualised.
Not to mention my two fav franchises sucking shit nowadays. Twisted Metal and Resident Evil.

I have my non-gaming periods, but it mostly has to do with me being apathetic about everything + feeling so tired and overwhelmed by work that I just want to sleep or do absolutely nothing on my free time. I don't have any problems with the franchises or genres I like, I am lucky because I enjoy almost every game I play.

That's how I'm starting to feel too, and Ace Combat is a bit too stressful for when I get the time to play games, so I decided to unleash my inner diva and become the stylin', savvy, trendsetting person I am.
