What is classified as chinese fast food anyways? Something like panda express or any kind with cafeteria style lines?
Pretty much... Basically anything that would make the cool kids say "but that's not real chinese food!"
yeah but they still carry the REGULAR BORING nuggets.. :/ they have a new buffalo sauce and it's whatever. it's not the same!
I love Wendy's nuggets for some reason, even the regular boring ones. Whenever it's Wendy's, I go all out with some nuggets, some fries, and something with 3 patties.

Either one of these, or the classic triple. Fuck the health nuts.

Also, when I worked at Subway I made myself six-inch sandwiches that would cost $10 or more otherwise -- multiple slices of every type of cheese, five or six pieces of bacon, extra meat. Then I loaded it up with all the vegetables and mustard, oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Since I quit Subway eating there hasn't been quite as good. I miss my discount.

I used to do that at Sonic, when I was opening for the breakfast shift.

Double cheeseburger with double cheese, bacon, onion rings, jalapenos.. everything.

That sounds awesome! My friend was a Subway manager back when they gave out stamps and I had stacks of Subway cards covered with stamps for free subs. I ate a free lunch everyday.

I only started eating Wendy's for maybe 2 years now. I'd always get their spicy chicken nuggets. I stopped by there a couple weeks ago and asked for a 5 piece. What do you know? THEY DON'T FUCKING CARRY IT ANYMORE. Bullshit.

Same shit @ Mcdonald's with their spicy chicken mcbites. They don't carry them anymore >:( Not even the regular mcbites. Sigh...

Don't even get me started on Burger King getting rid of chicken fries.

That might actually make Subway good. The amount of meat they give you on a standard sub is not near enough.

I used to do the same thing when I worked at pizza hut, give myself everything I wanted on a large stuffed crust pizza.

Ok I lied never worked at pizzahut I worked at dominos, but as a teen it was a dream of mine that I never got to live :(

I feel like Chicken Chawarma.

I always feel like Chicken Chawarma.

Sesame seed sauce...

speaking of subways, any of y'all try the pizza there? I've always been curious, but never bothered.

The one I worked was pretty barren -- no pizza, soup, seafood, etc. I was amazed when I learned about all the different stuff available at some Subways.

I think Subways in Japan have duck. Fast food outside of America is much more interesting.

Is that place still afloat? I remember going there all the time when I was younger. That breadstick gimmick was godlike.

There's one in my town. It closed for a while but eventually reopened. I don't know if the whole chain went under or just my local one.

We used to get in trouble a lot by the upper management for putting too much meat on sandwiches. Stuff like the steak and buffalo chicken were in tubs and we'd dump a liberal amount on the sub. Eventually we had to go back to prepping it in trays and keeping a log with measurements. We also put too many vegetables on there, particularly olives. Why in the fuck Subway thinks putting six olives on a footlong sandwich is sufficient I will never know.

Dressing must not be as important because every time I go to a subway they put wayyyy more on than asked. "A little bit" turns into 3 lines. :(

I hate that shit, so much.

You're LUCKY if you get six slices of black olive on a footlong if you ask for extra black olives.

Three lines is standard, four if you ask for extra. I don't remember if it's one line or two if you ask for "a little bit" but most workers ignore that and drown the sandwich. Some people like that, though. I've put obscene amounts of mayonnaise on subs at the customer's request.

The policy I took was to always go under a little bit and they can ask for more if they want. If they want a little, I'd put a light drizzle on there and ask if that was enough.

I had that Jack Sourdough cheesesteak...it was alright, kinda small, felt bad for eating it afterwards which is what I look for when I eat fast food lol

Same issue my Subway loves overdoing the sauce.
I'll ask for a little big of ranch and buffalo sauce, when I pick up the order that shit is drenched.

oh yeah, I've had some of them chicken special things at burger king a few weeks back. The popcorn chicken was pretty bad, stale and dry :(

The chicken parmesan sandwich was quite good though, but it shouldn't be hard to fail, it's just a chicken sandwich with tomato sauce and cheese.

This shit right here? Magnificent. I choose Popeye's over other chicken tender locations solely because of it sometimes. It is only second to Raising Cane's sauce for chicken and fries.

Subway is a no go for me. There's one on campus and it's honestly a waste of money: the sandwiches turn to dust when I bite into them and they're never filling. I went to another one nearby once and it wasn't so bad. There's an even better local place across from it, The Sandwich Spot I think, but they sell out early though. I grew up with Wegmans subs, though, so anything else isn't the same.

The Habit I think is only in California. They've got a whole assortment of stuff, but their burgers are really topnotch. They're not too greasy, they're very juicy, and they have my favorite burger topping, mushrooms. They lettuce wrap as well, which is a plus. Smashburger is another top burger joint and maybe even has a better burger, but overall I think Habit is more enjoyable.

Adalberto's in California is good...reluctant to say great, but a few of the locations make exceptionally tasty food. Chipotle is good, too. I don't know why I don't go there more often.

Are diners considered fast food?
There's a local place, Gatsby's, here in Sacramento. Not sure if it's fast food, really, because it's more of a nice place. I'll say it's one of the best American restaurants I've been to in the country, or really just one of the best restaurants of any type of food I've been to, continent and world.

Never every buy soft drinks or shakes. You can probably get by cheating on fast food burgers every now and again, but soft drinks will double the calories on the meal with no nutritional benefit.

What a buzz kill. Shakes and malts are the best. No pop for me, though.

I'd include grocery store Chinese food in this category. I have a few Chinese restaurants near me, but they're pricey and you have to wait for them to prepare the food, whereas the grocery store's Chinese food is lower quality but cheaper and ready to go.

Grocery store sushi is a "Never again" thing. Tried it one time, the first bite tasted wrong, so I threw the rest out. Still spent that night on the john, feeling like I was moments away from death.

I go with unsweetened iced tea if the diet soda selection is just one. As long as it's fresh and isn't Nestea, that is. If it's Gold Leaf, I will camp out at the fountain.

Just had Arby's tonight. Their bacon cheddar Roast Beef melt is amazing. Say what you want about Arbys roast beef, but bacon on top of the roast beef makes it even better.

Definition of fast food here, is food is prepared fast :P

Heck, even pho and ramen could probably be considered fast food.

we dont have them here in germany and thats a shame. totally loved their food.

ehh that's stretching it. Even the 24hour Pho places make your order fresh in the kitchen AFTER you order it.

Now Panda Express....that's some
Delicious
Asian fast food.

idk, with how pho works, the soup base is pretty much heated all day. They pretty much just pour it and drop the stuff in it and give you the bowl.

I usually can get the pho at my local place faster than mcdonalds can prepare stuff :P

Well my Pho experience is admittedly limited. I've only eaten at a couple of franchises, but 24 hour pho had at least 50 varieties to choose from, and they usually took 10 minutes to cook it. I guess just like any other type of food, there is a way convert the cuisine into fast-food.

I'm legitimately trying to lose weight but man, I do love fast food.

A friend of mine gave me a 25% employee discount card for McDonald's. McRib season can't come soon enough, I tells ya.

Steamed rice, honey walnut shrimp, and mandarin chicken.

All day, everyday.

And speaking of which, what the hell happened to their BBQ Pork slices. That just vanished off of their menus. :(

Yoshinoya's 牛鍋丼 is my favorite. Put some raw egg on top! It's great and cheap.

I also really like Freshness burger's vegetable burgers a lot even if they're kind of expensive.

I don't really understand the Mcribs love. It's just ribs at McDonald it doesn't taste Mcdonald-fied or anything.

At Taco Bell, I usually order the box these days. I wish they had a box sans drink but whatever, it's too hard picking from their menu so a little bit of everything is convenient.

Oh and, 2 bags of Fiery sauce per taco/burrito.

At Taco Bell I usually get the three taco supremes. The only thing that separates it from a regular taco is the sauce-so in essence I'm paying a $1 tax for mystery sauce, but whateves man. That sauce is worth every penny.
