It is kind of funny going back seeing some of all the giantbomb staffs early reviews though, they have gotten so much better in front of camera.

Some of us can't grow hair on the middle of the cheek, unless it's a pair of weird stripes next to the mustache-beard connector parts. :(

Some of the GB fanbase are lunatics, that is right up there with the guy who sent them like hundreds of dollars of X-mas presents last year and the guy who found out the address to the E3 house and ordered them pizza (I am pretty sure that one happened but I could be messing up details in my head)
 
I'm having a hard time imagining why someone would think it was a good idea to mail them a weapon. I guess on the bright side, it was a nonlethal weapon.

Once they are online, everyone should at least check out the segment with Brad and Jeff and the one with Jeff Green. Those were my favorites. Also the Drew part for an amazing tricaster story.

Jeff should cover AC3 in his minute long thing, you can do an effective one minute pitch for the new NFS to gamers, because you can equate it to games people have played. "It's like Burnout Paradise, but at half the framerate, prettier, and with real cars", the people who will care about that game already know if they're buying it.

AC3 could be pitched to anyone who's got a vague idea of gaming genres or a general interest in simulated period games. No idea which game is better, but it's really clear which is more interesting.

I'm sending my recent shirts back. The quality is so below the standards set by their original batch of shirts that it's almost appalling.

Edit: Somewhat related, but does anyone know of a good site for tee shirts?

I'm going to pick up a couple more GAF shirts since they're pretty understated, but any suggestions would be awesome.

Well they set the bar by filming themselves opening boxes and putting it on their site. That comes with some crazies or people just trying to ensure their stuff gets filmed. A giant box of twinkles is a stupid ass thing to send, but it was guaranteed to get on the site.
 
I think I remember someone sent them a package of weed once and they told everyone to never do that again.


Still it must be fun sitting around seeing all the random crap your fans send you.

Johnny V potentially now being one of the gatekeepers of Star Wars video games is pretty interesting, though.
 
What the fuck did they do to Desmond?

He looks so different, and not in a good way. It looks like they took a Skyrim facial editor and pulled/pouted the lips.
 
Oh wow... So Matt Rorie did the AC3 guide for gamespot and reviewed NFS Most Wanted for Gamesradar!

I'm happy to see that he finally found some work!
