Vita PSN Game And Service Thread

It seems that holiday button page is easily exploitable, as an example, just paste this into thr urlbar with that page open

Code: 
javascript: button = $($("#btnGame")[0]); for (var i=0;i<5;i++){ button.trigger("mousedown"); button.trigger("mouseup")}

EDIT: it seems some browsers delete the "javascript: " part when pasting it. So you would've to add yourselves.

Don't worry, it seems there's some server side protection which doesn't allow more than 12 clicks in 1.5 seconds. But you can easily turn that script into something that you can leave running in the background and that waits some random intervals to simulate a human.

Sure, you have already invested 25k+ "valid" clicks, but if you log in with another account, there's nothing to lose.

Plus, it doesn't take much to imitate a human behavior, after all, you've been clicking like a robot all day long.

This reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where Homer is obese, works from home and gets the drinking bird to push buttons for him.

And on an unrelated note "Hey Miss Doesn't find me sexually attractive anymore, I just trippled my productivity!"

This game just ate my whole damn evening. I only wanted to complete one (that is: 1) challenge. One single challenge. But oh, look at that billboard. Why doesn't it have my picture on it. Let's change that! Oh, and see that speed camera? How about ... oh excuse me, Autolog, what did you say? I should try beating XYZGamer's time on Cracy Race 2? Well sure I will. Ah, can't quite reach the time with this setup though. Maybe I should try to get the nitro upgrade and then try again. But of course on my way there I will run into some police cars. escaping the police using a billboard and a jack spot

Skyzard, add me and we will play NFS MW together soon. We need to get some other GAFers together, too. I have several people from here with the game on my friends list, but I haven't gone into multiplayer yet.

I added a few of you yesterday for MW but none has accepted my request, lol. My PSN id is totally different tough so that might be part of the problem.

Yeah, only reason I'm interested in it is to play it in English and with the patches.

Kind of wary about ACL since it doesn't sound like anything special.

Yes, because the story in it is so much more incredible than the main Black Ops 2 game that has tons of media. You cannot spoil it, ladies and gentlemen! And that's because it has enough content that if you post a trailer for it you accidentally showed the entire game!

And yes, I know that was two separate disses that had no connection with each other. I don't care.
 
I wonder if the reason Vita didn't get a Skylanders port is because they couldn't find a way to interface the Portal of Power with the system.

He basically said to me "wait for reviews" and " the Toronto game event showing led to new details about the game." They are not interested in this game one bit. Pure cash grab.
 
I posted this over in the Most Wanted thread as well. I'm really enjoying the Vita version of the game. It's awesome to think that the whole console game (almost) has made the transition to a handheld. I've played a bunch of events and some online games so far and I'm having a blast. The frame rate while online went down pretty low, but other than that it's a really impressive handheld game.

I took some pictures of the game and put them into a gallery if you want to take a look.

Here's a sample (I resized the images a little to give a truer idea of the screen size of the Vita):

That's a perfect resize. That's about exactly how it looks on the Vita screen in terms of image quality. The full-size direct feed images unfortunately aren't representative at all, and when someone puts the pictures in quotes it looks better than the game itself looks, so those you posted are perfect.

And yeah, the game is so good.
 
NFS is capable of being really, really fucking frustrating. Especially online where I slam into a guy and somehow get taken down myself. Also notable, I finished a Ford Shelby race and the game full-on crashed a second after the end of the race. At least it saved my progress.

You can add me to your friendslist if you want to witness my awful attempts at finishing the game anyway. BlueMaximaC099
 
I'm playing Unit 13 again for the first time since a couple of months ago when I rented it from Gamefly, and darn, I forgot how good it looked! Might be one of the best graphics games on Vita.

For a non native res, it sure looks good. Specially the main characters. That game deserved to sell better, too bad the demo was very off-putting and glitched.
 
Unit 13 suffered from me trying out the demo right after beating Uncharted, haha. I've said it before, but any TPS on Vita going forward is going to be a hard sell for me if it doesn't have analog + tilt aiming.
 
Took my Vita to work on the off-chance that Most Wanted would be up on the UK store. It is!

Marvellous (although £39.99 is a smidgen unpalatable).
