He was such an amazing person. This is really hard on me, I don't even understand why
The picture he used the most, that most people know him from is a picture of Norman Borlaug the father of GMO plants, credited for saving the lives of an estimated billion people with his technology.
Gaborn appreciated his work, appreciated him for the same reason I appreciated him - because he pushed forward and found a way to save the world with technology, because he was sincere about his love for science and his love for people.
Norman died almost exactly 3 years before Gaborn... I think around 3 years 10 days.

I don't. Don't apologize or sugarcoat anything. He always welcomed the knockdown drag-em-out arguments.
Gaborn could be maddening in his stubbornness and cognitive dissonance. But he was still a NeoGAF legend and icon. Remember the good with the bad.
He certainly left his mark on this place, and will be remembered.
