Yesh this seems to be a bug in a few vitas and i don't think there is a solution either.
Indeed but these wrongs have destroyed vita's sales completely.

No. But Velocity doesnt seem to be as loved by everyone as those two.
Velocity is a fantastic game though.

It really is a fantastic piece of hardware. The ONLY thing it needs is 100% compatibility with PSN PSP games for it to be perfect in my book.

On the topic of touchscreens - the vitas is sooo sensitive. You an hover your finger above it and it registers as a tap

I heard dev. kits had 768MB of RAM.
Dev kits often have more ram than retail units.

Which is kinda obvious - optimisation is probably one of later parts of coding games so dev unit needs to be ready for more wastefull code.

picked up SFXTK today. it's awesome
this is how accessible i imagined SFIV would be, the links are nice and easy to pull off
my only issue is that the character menu is fuckin tiny. they should've redesigned it for the vita screen

Can you turn the back touch stuff off? That sounds a bit frustrating to me.
The main point of having extra memory is to run the code with debugging information.

Every dev kit has more RAM than regular systems.
It's not just optimization, it's also debug tools and the like that need to run while the game is in development.
Did you spill some water on the screen? I know that such a thing happened to me when drops of rain got in contact with my screen. They don't handle moisture that well. Maybe try the rice method?

Try Restarting it.
If that doesnt work Restore The System. ( You will lose your settings, bubble order, and some other stuff)
I had the same problem when I first got my Vita but with the back touchpad.
Mine does that while charging too. Oddly though, it only does it on the plug socket in my bedroom. Any other socket and it's fine.
So..try another socket
No, you can't. But you can customize it to where backtouch does nothing (besides show the front "hitbox"/zones for the touch-screen on front, instead. Which is the same as "turning it off" in a fashion.

Was playing an impressively close online match of When Vikings Attack last night, had one of the rounds go heavily in my favor, and then my opponent rage quit. Left me really irritated b/c, up until the opponent bailed, the match was super fun. Keep it classy, internet.

Started playing uncharted vita, pretty fun with the exception of a couple moments.
I'd settle for iOS ports of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas.

Did they even announce proprietary memory cards at the ngp reveal?also every console has vaporware sure but i don't think many were expecting bioshock or ffxhd to be so.
