Its embarrassing to dress like a diabetic, pregnant woman who just got out of bed. Flip flops are ok if you're really ugly or morbidly obese.
90% of my college must be embarrassed then. How dare we Floridians wear flip flops.

The people on GAF who ridicule people for wearing flip flops are a million times more embarrassing than Bronies.
Admittedly, Adventure Time is perhaps more adult than anything else. I'm not that familiar with the series. Perhaps Flapjack is valid alternative? Either way, the point remains. There seems to be no 'adult humor' hidden in MLP to reach a broader audience.Adventure Time is certainly not aimed for kids. It's the same with Regular Show or The Amazing World of Gumball. Sure kids could sit and watch and maybe get a kick off of it but they certainly don't seem like they are aimed for kids.

Wow, are flip-flops something people can't wear nowadays without ridicule? It's hard to keep track of what people are hating on nowadays lol I hate wearing them, but why should anyone care if someone else does?

So, who is going to be my Belly Bro?
Me too. I am not sure though.
its cute
thats the hook
Well, there's a little bit. Doesn't usually get raunchy or anything, but still, the original intended target audience wouldn't get this reference.Admittedly, Adventure Time is perhaps more adult than anything else. No, going into a toy store to buy MLP toys is hardly mature as a grown man. I am referring to you saying that there is something wrong with buying videogames at a toy store. Like you would have to be ashamed to do something like that. Just strikes me as silly.
TRU exclusive ponies. But there's so many other places that sell that stuff, why go to a Toys R Us store?

D: why are flip flops so bad?
Flip-flops are NOT okay. Feet should never be seen.

well
it doesnt help when a large portion of your group actually wants to bone the ponies

Vaginas...what do they look like?
But there are dozens of "cute" kid shows out there. Why do all the adult males flock to this one in particular?
If you can't find something that really stands out in the show to warrant such a fanbase, the only explanation left is something besides the show itself. For example: wanting to belong to a community that doesn't poohpooh the idea of watching a kids show. And somehow the MLP fanbase reached critical mass to attract people wanting to belong to a community.
They even tried to get male fans of Care Bears to start calling themselves 'Belly Bros.'
Okay guys, be honest, what do you think is worse? Anime fans or bronies?

Personally I always judge fanbases by their worst fans.
As a result of this I hate every fandom that exists.

Feet are disgusting and the world is full of gross stuff to get on your feet. Also, laziness. They are as bad as sweatpants to my mind.
I'd feel uncomfortable walking into a TRU as a person in my mid 20s. It just seems like a place I'd have no business in, since I don't have kids.
As a fellow Floridian, I must yield to the point that flip flops should be worn sparingly. Feet are the grossest body part.
You know toys r us has a video game section? Like m Rated games? Unless you subscribe to the man child attitude towards games, it seems like tere is something there for adults, albeit a small area.
I do live in Florida, hence the hate. You guys should wear shoes.
Great, a messiah for them to rally around.Andrew WK is a brony and he's chimed in on haters before.. check this out, epic inception music in play:

You're welcome to move the fuck out.
Floridians are never giving up our flip flops.
