The benefit of course comes from being able to access all the content that IS a 1080p version without having to re encode stuff.

I bought PS Vita on Sunday and I only bought Mutant Blob Attack yesterday. It's funny I'm about to buy Uncharted and Gravity Rush when I get paid.

I'm really excited about the info on Vita Plus games I'm getting for free lol. So I'm gonna buy Persona 4 Golden and Zero Escape instead.

Get a Plus sub and download Uncharted and Gravity Rush next week. Money saved.

Unless you like having a copy permanently with you.

Been playing Ultimate GnG. Just beautiful.

Tried Uncharted demo, dont get the hate, i thought it was alot of fun, especially the fire fights. Seems itll be more fun than UC3. Cant wait for PS+ so i can play the whole game.

Played Gravity Rush demo, not bad, the gravity thing will take time getting use to.

Also DL Zero Escape demo, will give it another try, wanted to play around with the vita instead of reading stuff.

I also downloaded MHFU, after playing MHP3, That hitbox is sooo annoying.

Lastly, I havent even touch AC:L that came with my Vita. Will do tommorow.

Overall had the Vita for a few hours and loving it.

how meaty is alien breed and panic psm game? I love some of psm game I bought like super crate box and numblast, but both offer very little content, I love the core mechanics in both games, but numblast could really use some more modes to expand their gameplay variety same with scb
 
Got BLOPS: Declassified today and played a few minutes this evening. It seems to look and run well enough but after a few missions I found myself wanting to go back to NFS: Most Wanted which I consider an absolute blast. I think Most Wanted has become one of my favorite Vita games in terms of sheer fun factor. Persona 4 next week might get it out of my card slot for awhile though!

Flickr app was buggy before but now I can't sign in ...always getting a10000000102 error or something ...I used it a lot too :(

Have you read the official thread at all? It seems to happen after finishing a collection (coins, jewels, diary pages etc..). No news on a patch, but for now a lot of us are just backing it up as we progress.

Alien Breed is a PSM game out today in the EU. The old Team 17 game.

Not gonna make excuses for the bug existing, but we've managed to nail it down to it happening when you unlock one of the special items for collecting all of everything. I had two backups, one before I collected all of the Lady items, and one after. The later got corrupted at the same time as my active save got corrupted, but I continued from the first backup with no issues now for quite a few hours. Both backups were after beating the game.

It's unfortunate that it exists, but if you really want to play the game, there's safeguards you can do in case it does happen.

I was getting a flickr error like that the other day, turns out there was an update to the app I needed to download; so yeah, check the live area.

So, I just found a solution that works: changing the DNS servers to the Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8). Apparently, the standard settings in combination with my ISP here in Halifax led to a slight time-out which might have screwed with the DRM. Or something else. Anyway, it works now. :)

I updated just yesterday and still no luck. Have tried downloading it again after uninstalling. I guess I have to wait for the next update.

No idea as I never played it either. Game was originally released in 1991.

The PSM version has 8 extra levels as well as the option to play with all the original graphics/sounds or with the new updated graphics/sounds.

I'll probably hold off at least until Plus drops, so I can have a save game backed up quickly/easily.

I understand what you are saying but after spending money on this. i didn't expect it to wipe my saves for doing well in the game
 
I think I timed my free month of PS+ to expire next Wednesday, lol

I hope I remember to claim the "free" Gravity Rush and Uncharted Golden Abyss downloads. Won't have time to play them now, but when I activate another free month in the future, I can play 'em.
 
I've been waiting for Rayman Origins and Metal Gear Solid Collection to drop below $20 for such a long time now. Hopefully Black Friday brings them to that price point. I know the games are probably worth more than that, but I already have both for PS3.

Meh, just get MGS3 for $15, it's the only decent MGS in the series that isn't MGS1.
 
I got Rayman for less than $20 back in like July, I think. It's definitely been on sale for that much a few times. Maybe not in US though.
 
Yeah everyone was saying how the Ubisoft games would drop in price in no time, and they ended up not dropping at all. I already have Rayman on PS3, but I would like it on my Vita, too. Just not full price want.

It's on my Vita right now, from the US store.
It was in the initial batch of games that were available but not listed under official support.
There were a bunch of games that were like this, not sure why it wasn't officially rolled out yet though.
 
Just saw that they updated the EU store, saw CoD and NFSMW there, and downloaded Super Stardust PSP (free for PS+ users).

I purchased Alien Breed from PSM, a port of the iOS remake of the Amiga classic with new additional content. Feels great with dual analog controls! Nice to see a new and cool Team 17 logo!

I also got Darkstalkers Chronicles, had the UMD and was awesome because featured all the content from the series plus a new mission based Tower game mode. I'm downloading it, can't wait to see how it looks in the OLED and how it plays with this great dpad.

I could have sworn I tried to copy it over from my PS3, but it said I couldn't. Whatever, I'll just try it again. Not that I need another game to play on Vita. It's part of the reason why I still won't do PS+.
 
I think PSM games should be included on the live area for the Store, at least if it's a big ish release.

Just downloaded Alien Breed. No button support in the Menu is REALLY annoying.

Seems to carry a save over between Classic and Enhanced mode. Classic mode has shooting in just the old 8 directions, Enhanced is ...many directions. Looks like it should be good for whiling away a few minutes here and there!
