I haven't really used Near since the first day I got the system. It's too convoluted and vague.
The Deadmau5 tracks gave me a headache.
Loved the Beck ones personally. For some reason it blew me away when the game started implementing vocals. Caught me off guard and made the last album really memorable.
I think the only game that actually benefits from it is Treasure Park. All the others just have this collectible sharing, slight bonus or unlock stuff you could unlock yourself going on.
Same here, but the game goods are worth checking periodically. Weird app. Would much rather have some kind of bizarro social alarm clock for my Vita
It was the opposite for me with the headache but I liked the vocals too. It might have been the slow movement due to the water type things in his levels that put me off too.. they grew on me...but the first playthrough was painful to listen to! No joke and I don't have weird music tastes or anything.

Really hope we eventually see Dyad, that game is so good on PS3 but the gameplay is like perfect for vita in bed..

Sounds like it, yeah. Still doesnt say anything about uploading save data from the Digital purchase though.
On the third set of stages. The ship levels really make me want to see some Pixeljunk love on this thing!

Heard about that bug so stopped playing. Will play after next week when i can back up my saves to the cloud.

That's what I was worried about as well. Plus, the white of the Vita clashing with the screen.
Not sure if anybody knows what I mean by that.

vita could never do that game justice.^ I still haven't played it on PS3...ran the demo very quickly but yeah I've heard the visuals were fantastic in this.. still though, you reckon it's too much for the vita? Most of the world seemed really empty..
Yeah the contrast/distracting colour - although that might be just from being new but black does help to focus yeah...should be ok although I've not played with one - see if anyone here has one and can comment...or how distracting people found the white iphone? Not sure if the yellowing will happen with the vita too though, just something I've learned about white casings in general.

How to make sure it wont back up the bugged save though? You only notice it after starting the game up again, so the savegame would already be uploaded after closing the game once, no?

Just make sure you turn off auto-upload so it only uploads if you do it manually. That way if your save fucks itself, your cloud save is fine
Almost certainly. Think it will be the highest selling Vita game since launch, too.

Yeah, I'm wondering how it will rate though. I have a weird gut feeling it'll hit like 11/12 but that seems crazy
What kind of ratings? Whats it at on the store?
I would expect around 10 or so yeah. Lots of big games in the top 10. On individual charts it might be a bit higher

NA/US Vita store has 445 ratings at 4.31 stars.
Btw (if you didn't already know) with NFS:MW you can change your license plate as well as upload your own photo by signing into autolog here with origin info and uploading a photo from pc (to replace your default PSN one in the game). Your friends will see that photo instead too, just replaced my wipeout one with the GAF one, quite neat. Appears on billboards as well as the avatar for your name in-game.
Probably safe to say at least 1000 people bought it digitally too. Which is already like $50,000 in sales right there lol
And the UK one was at a bit more than 300 ratings and a score of about 4.10, IIRC.

I transferred my save from SFxT cart to my PC and back to my Vita when I bought it digitally.
So yeah.
It should work.
It just pisses me off that there was no fix before now, as I lost a good amount of UMvC3 progress because of this bullshit.
At least if I ever upgrade my copy of MK to digital, I'll be able to transfer the save easily.
For the record, UMvC3 is the only game I have come across to screw me like this; Uncharted and Rayman Origins were able to back their saves up to my PC, so yeah, I don't know what bullshit Capcom was pulling, but it was just that... bullshit.
There are a couple people who I've come across over on YouTube that seem bitter or angry about the game, but the general population seems to be very happy with it. I don't think I've seen a single post in here trashing it yet, just a bunch of good or great sentiments.
I think that "vita bias" that some people were talking about might have more to it than everyone thought.
And if it keeps getting good word of mouth and moving units, I could care less what a bunch of reviewers decide to lambaste the game for; in fact, maybe the outlash of the review scores vs user impressions will lead to some sort of review revolution? We can hope, right? Eff the game review industry.

PS3/Vita bundle at $400 with 1 year of PS+ would have been a fabulous deal.

Even now, they should be making a Vita + 32GB card + 3-12 months of PS+ bundle.
Hey, buy this thing and you get 6 free games including U:GA and GR. 18 if you own a PS3.
Plus, you get cloud storage, automatic updates on PS3, and some more unannounced games.
Japan actually has a deal with the 3G Vita including a free 32GB card.

Ugh I really want to get a 32 gb card but I can't afford it atm @_@ I'm going to have to beat+platinum one of the digital games I have so I can free up room for Sine Mora and Jet Set Radio.
P4 is more than 3GB too..

It's too bad Sony never successfully made LittleBigPlanet a "big deal" series. LBPV is pretty much the promise of the Vita fulfilled, but about twenty people own it.

We didn't very many copies in of Declassified but did sell out on the first day. Then have had numerous calls since then asking about it. Seems like people are just wanting to shoot things and are ignoring reviews.
