This is the demo section if you want to try it yourself on PS360. It definitely wasn't that bad.

Yeah I was just playing it last night, which made the poor framerate even more obscene

Fun fact: Characters in Epic Mickey 2 never want to fucking shut up and its more fun if you just set it to a language you don't understand (theres a ton of them!) I went with German and everything was way more entertaining

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two (Frames per Second)

Congrats on the shoutout

I've not been watching but it sounds like I made a wise choice buying this for the Nintendo exclusive games, ha.

I look forward to watching the archive in two weeks after I got my Wii U.

Jeez...

I was pretty apathetic towards Wii U before (mostly because I dunno if I should buy a JP or US one), but this stream has made me care about it even less.

EDIT: ERROR 1-0001
Perfect ending.

Nice stream, I wish they were a bit more aggressive in going through the games but it was pretty informative. Tekken was probably my highlight with the pretty insane modes they have.

Everything considered, the parts that are unacceptable at this point are the OS performance and the Account management situation. Rushed launch games, what ever but releasing the hardware when it struggles to run its own OS just isn't right. I think that and the general slow load times for everything is what slowly drove Jeff insane.

It's weird that every game I watched in the stream had really long loading times, because the disc drive is pretty fast (22.5MB/s if I remember correctly). Sure, almost all ports seemed rushed, but even Nintendoland and Chasing Aurora, which is a downloadable game being played from the internal flash, were really bad. I can't think of another game made by Nintendo that had long loading times.

Loading times have always been something Nintendo cared a lot about. Sucks that it seems that they don't seem to care much anymore.

It doesn't really matter. If the RAM speeds are bad it will hold up everything else.

? No. That wouldn't affect loading speeds. The RAM speed is much MUCH faster than the media.

I'm really tired right now, but yeah that's obviously correct. Logically the slowest part is what should be holding everything back. Otherwise it wouldn't make any difference if you installed games on 360, or when you go with a SSD instead of a HDD for your PC.

22.5MB/s vs possibly 17GB/s.
