It's barely been a week since Hawkeye #7 was solicited, and now Marvel announces they're pushing that back to make a Hurricane Sandy comic. How the fuck does that happen? Not the comic, I mean, Hawkguy's all about New York so I can totally get how and why you'd do such a thing, but how do you fuck that bit of communication up?

Cynical Chris the Comic Collector says: This is an excuse for publicity about an event that already passed months after this issue came out, and is mostly an excuse to give Aja more time to draw.

Hawkeye book about Sandy would be fantastic, especially if they donate profits from it to Sandy relief.

NYC, I miss you...

Does that mean 8 gets pushed back too? It's supposed to be a Valentines issue, seems like the release date would need to stay.

I was only making a joke towards its obvious inspirations.

It is really hard to tell sometimes. Sorry about that.

Hey guys I am thinking about picking up justice league: dark. Can someone/s tell me what to expect from it? Team roster and all that? I am going into it knowing there is Constantine, Zatanna and nothing else.

"I'm retiring from Marvel post-haste. Dan Slott is taking over USM, Gillen is taking over Uncanny X-Men again, Remender has All-New X-men, and Grant Morrison is ghost-writing Guardians of the Galaxy"

Age of Ultron will be a 10-issue limited series beginning in March running through June written by Brian Bendis with issues #1-5 art by Bryan Hitch and Brandon Peterson and Carlos Pacheco taking over for the back half.

Oh boy.

Anybody think this was extended?

That Ultron cover has to be fake because it shows Iron Fist incapacitated and Iron Fist would laugh at Ultron.

In all seriousness, can't Magneto just show up and turn Ultron into paperclips?

that explains the delays. this was to come out last/early this year but marvel pushed it back. probably ot make it fit more in line with MArvel Now

also fuck yea Hawkguy, take that tin can down

ultron war is going to be a really quick way to cull down the otherwise very interesting looking Marvel NOW books:

hawkeye (should make it out OK)
thor (should make it out OK)
captain america (should make it out OK, at least i'll get one good Remender book out of this)
avengers & new avengers (god help Marvel if Hickman's tale gets boned)
uncanny avengers (this one seems most likely to get boned, poor Remender)
watxm (this one loves getting boned by events, so it's definitely out)

thats if cassady can get his shit together

I'm pretty sure this is all pre-Marvel NOW, so I don't think it's gonna have much affect on...anything >_>.

I'm pretty sure that's Peter Parker Spider-Man there, now that I look at it

"There will be Fantastic Four and Superior Spider-Man tie-ins in March."

Edit: "Age of Ultron will fall in line with changes brought to the Marvel Universe by Marvel NOW!, specifically in Superior Spider-Man and Fantastic Four."

from reading interveiws it seams the Hitch stuff is pre marvel now and the peterson/pacheo stuff is post now.

also all tie in will be point one with branding of au. ex Fantastic four 6AU

also jon bones

Brevoort said that most tie-ins will be in one issue, and they will spread over no more than six or seven series. "

If they can actually stick to the March-June schedule and get this event done in four months, that's super exciting.

My problem with events is when they start taking up the whole damn year. Four months I can handle.

Interesting in those pics... Are they implying that Hawkeye's deaf again since they seemed to have retconned that he was from his last 'resurrection' or is Clint basically just not giving a crap?

also john bones

mmm alright, then. i have faith. i really just want Hickman's 2 books to exist within themselves, telling their own little epic tale. i heard Remender's book is the sort of "flagship" title that can change often at the whim of editors so i'm less pumped about that.

also "jon" bones.

Some people on Twitter already getting their hands on ASM #698. One dude is REALLY pissed

"Most" of the tie-ins will only be one issue, per Bendis.

also remeber hitch's page were drawn way ahead of Superior spiderman. i dont think marvel would be that dumb on this. we are just now seeing carol danvers in her new suit.

4 months for ten issues....trade waiting. Could be fun, but its probably 5 issues worth of content.

She was in her new suit in the Alpha thing, its just insane to believe that 4 months into MarvelNOW with Superior Spidey makes all these cameos in February that they would leave him out of the first big crossover.

well Bendis said that the hitch stuff is its own arc. then the peterson stuff is the second act. i imagine thats where peter and superior will switch places or something like that.
