Sine Mora, Chronovolt and Jet Set Radio are up via search. Only Jet Set Radio comes with a demo, I DLed that and will probably buy the game after.

I'm surprised both Chronovolt and Sine Mora don't have a demo. I'm also surprised how expensive Sine Mora is on the UK store, isn't it like 10 dollars on the American store (even that I thought was a bit expensive), it costs 12 pounds. Chronovolt costs 5 pounds which is a fine price but I won't get it blindly with no demo. I'm counting on impressions to make a decision.

Hello guys i'm a new Vita owner and i was wondering which PS Store region should i create an account for?I'm in Europe, so it would seem better to go with UK store but the games are cheaper and are released earlier on the US store?

Up in UK? Dammit, knew I should have brought my charger in to work with me. :(

Is anyone having issues getting the cloud saves to work? I assumed it would happen overnight, but nothing. It's enabled in settings and I can upload fine manually via CM.

Looks like Frobisher Says! is getting a trophies update this week. =]

It’s not all about the new games, though – there’s a free patch out too. Frobisher has listened to the feedback and has requested some new features for the main game and Super Fun Pack! If you’re used to doing his bidding, you’ll be pleased to know that Frobisher has found some trophies he no longer wants and he’s going to make you work for them.

Go for the UK one,the online passes and DLC's of games are region locked.

If you don't have an attachment to your existing PSN account, create a US one. The savings are immense. I am German, and despite cursing once in a while when the EU gets something the US doesn't (ecolibrium..), creating a US account was a verrrry good idea. However, inform yourself first where to get US PSN cards without the ridiculous activation fees, you can't use most EU credit cards on US PSN. GameStop.com sells us PSN cards for example. Or ask a US friend and send him the money via Paypal. If you don't find a cheap way to get these cards, you might as well use the EU store.

Prices: see the below example of 10$ vs 12£ for Sine Mora.

Holy shit

$9.99 = £11.99?

If he has an US account and buys the online passes and DLC in the US store, there isn't any issue at all. You can't, however, buy a UK game on retail and then download DLC/Online passes from the US store for a EU retail game.

wow UC;GA looks so good and i'm only in the first chapter, and where is the OT for it? couldn't find it, and so many cards for the upcoming card game

Presuming payment method is not a problem for you, it really is mostly guessing when it comes to content. EU store tends to have smaller PSN games sooner than the US store. Not all the time, but it has happened quite a bit where games take a long time to reach US or even don't get them. Also publishers seem to put their minis and mobile games for EU first.

However when it comes to retail games, you're still better off with the US store. They have Persona 4 and Ragnorak Odyssey for instance while we'll have to wait 4 months for the former and probably 2 months for the latter. Smaller publishers like Atlus and Gunho still put stuff faster on the US store and are slower on the EU store.

Things in general have improved for EU. Usually EU doesn't have to wait long on most games, there is more parity with releases where we get stuff on the same week or a week after. Also EU has great deals if you care about that.

If you're one of those people who is way too impatient to wait for retail games, then go with the US store. I don't think there is as big of a difference as previous gens though. So think about what you prefer without worrying too much about the consequences bar a few rare exceptions.

Ha. Sony not wasting any opportunity to let people know you can get these things free.

Why doesn't anyone mention the money savings on the US store. The games are like 20% cheaper and the main reason I am glad about my account decision.

1) SUCKAAAAA. I play my Vita on the train so i have just set it downloading U:GA, Gravity Rush, and Chronovolt (Already part of the MBA Appreciation Society). I feel for you :(

2) Auto uploading I think is an issue at the moment, the EU blog said the team are working to squash any little bugs like that. Not sure how they announce it as a feature of the firmware if it doesn't work for anyone at all is beyond me lol. I did it manually so I'm safe for now.

More importantly for UK GAF, It's just occured to me that for the sum total of less than £245, you can get a WiFi Vita, 4GB card, Cod, NFSMW, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, MBA and Chronovolt from Game and also buy a 3 month PS+ Sub. And then in a months time you'll get 2 more, and then in a month time you'll get 2 more. Then you'll have to decide if you want to extend your PS+ sub. But at that point, with 6 games and knowing there are more to come, who wouldn't?

Fine you can't get all those games on that 4gb card, but still. £245, 7 + 2 + 2 games.

Ha. Sony not wasting any opportunity to let people know you can get these things free.

I'M FAMOUS!!!!!!

I'm SirTodge btw

Are you talking about spend 100 dollars and get 20 back? I don't know too much about it but isn't it only for a month?

I honestly forgot about that and don't know if it's a permanent deal?

Even though it would likely cost a small fortune, I would probably buy a 64GB memory card at this point with all of the PS+ stuff coming out now. My 32GB is pretty much full and I wasn't even trying to go full digital.

No, I mean that almost no game is appropriately priced according to the US standard prices. Current extreme example is Sine Mora on the US store with 10$ vs 12£ in the UK store, which is 19$!!

If you take the standard 40$ in the US store and compare them to a standard 40€ price in my native store, I would need to pay 51$ for the same product, which saves me 11$ on every new game. It's probably even worse on the UK store.

Yep, think I'm going to get a cradle for home and pick up a second USB (and possibly an AC adapter) for work.

Thanks, I'll just do it manually each evening for now.

Will wait for + then. :(

Can anybody tell me how to check cloud saves? I need to make room on my memory card (32gb isn't enough) but I don't want to delete anything until I can see the cloud saves. I can't find them anywhere.

Edit: Found them thanks to one of the above posts.

Open the content manager and select online storage > PC. It'll tell you there what's in the cloud along with timestamps and sizes.

12 Pounds is 20 dollars...which the price of Vanquish on both EU and US PSN respectivly.
Goddamn UK tax...
19$ actually, but still way too much of a difference.

Fuck it. Added UGA, GR and Chronovolt to my download list - let's see if the Vita manages to download them all via a 5Mbps (limited) connection without the battery running out.

tried it, and it finished with half a battery left, and I was playing some games in the meantime lol

So if i have let's say Wipeout EU retail version, i can't buy DLC for it from the US store, but if i buy the game digitally from the US store then i can buy the DLC too? What about game updates like patches, do the fall under the same category?

lol.. 1 rating at that price allready..
Well, to be fair, it's still a great game. Closest to eye sex next to Wipeout too. Annoying EU gets shafted once again, but it's still worth it. The 10$ in the US is rather ridiculously cheap.

I didn't even get half of Wipeout downloaded last night...forgive the possibly dumb question but is going into sleep mode also supposed to stop all downloads?

If you go with a US account and buy everything digitally, you won't have any problems. (If you have a way to get US PSN cards). You can still buy a game cheap in UK retail that won't get DLC or patches, though. I have Rayman in my card slot for example. Doesn't take up HDD space that way. Another contender for the card slot would be the MGS collection if you have any interest. No DLC, no online, no patches and one of the biggest games on the platform so far.
