In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii U eShop or the Nintendo 3DS eShop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Remember that Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo DSi feature parental controls that let adults manage some of the content their children can access. For more information about this and other features, visit http://www.nintendo.com/wiiu, http://www.nintendo.com/wii, http://www.nintendo.com/3ds or http://www.nintendo.com/ds.

so I do not remember who dared to post it before me last week but I get my throne back :)

and one day I'll be able to format it nicely with Nintendo's links (who works wonky at the release of the PR, needs some time to get them to work)

and no, no ninja gaiden.

at least this week we got something nice with crashmo :)

edit : and thanks you Brazil for your posts, lots clearer to see than Nintendo PR :)

Nintendo DSi | DSiWare

I'm honestly curious to see what happened to that Rayman Legends demo that was supposed to be on Sunday; did Ubisoft run into some kind of technical snafu or something?

I'd consider grabbing Spirit Hunters if it was a 3DS game.

Nnooo should've moved the project over from the DSi.

For the Wii u eShop, I do know Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is new, solely because I've been waiting all week for it lol.

Oh and NBA 2K13 is new as well

And the big surprise is TTT2 is $54.99 instead of full price. Namco understands how this should work.

do not know but I recall reading that since the dsiware is available also on 3ds, sales and visibility went up and games were more profitable, so ...
But rules and limitations (like a steep minimum number of sales required before getting paid) haven't changed, so I guess all these DSiWare games are projects which were queued up for a while.

False information.

The minimum number of sales only applied to WiiWare and it wasn't exactly "steep," something like five thousand copies.

Can't believe they're releasing Zelda 2 just now.

Why can't they just pump out every existing Wii NES VC game? The longer they take with this shit the more cares start vanishing.

No shit. It's like they don't want our moneies. And waiting until 9am Pacific sucks.

Zelda 2 is up, but it won't give me the option to upgrade. Did they upload the Ambassador version by mistake AGAIN?

no update for me too

Crashmo is nice, but after the 1st ten levels, already harder than pushmo ^^

just have to think differently

lol. After DKJr-gate you'd think NOA would've gotten their shit together. Add in Ninja Gaiden and those Game Gear Sonics vanishing off the map, not to mention all the other bizarrely MIA games (Kirby 2, Columns, Shantae, etc) and you really have to wonder wtf is going on with the US Virtual Console. It's cursed. :[

Kinda disappointed at no new Wii U eShop releases. I (think I) remember with Wii there were launch day games and they added a few more just a few days later.

They added TTT2 and NBA2K13 last night. Also the Hulu+, Amazon Video and Youtube apps the past several days.

I'm probably done with U purchases for the rest of 2012, except maybe Runner 2. Q1 is already going to be loaded though (Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, MH3U, 1001 Spikes, The Cave, Two Brothers).

Yes, it is.

Really hope that makes its way over to the US 3DS VC soon.
My favorite Mario game, and would love to have it in a real portable form (since the oversized veggies and such messed up the GBA verison of it on Super Mario Advance).

As noted, it is a very polarizing game - in part due to how different it is (although elements from it have definitely shown up in later Zelda games).

If nothing else, I would say it's definitely worth a try at least to see which side of the polarization you're on. For me personally, I love it - but can definitely understand other people disliking it as well. If nothing else, as I said, it's at least worth a try to find out.
