Same here, love the machine. Did you download the latest sound drivers, they help quite a bit. Laptop may get a little break when the Vita and Persona 4 arrive. GW2 has been giving it a workout lately.
Yeah, latest sound drivers definitely helped. Still get some weird audio/video problems when streaming videos, but it seems to be related to the wireless network adapter because they go away when I'm on ethernet (which is most of the time). But yeah, I imagine I'm gonna be playing Vita a bunch over the holidays (even though I've been getting things off the Steam sale too...)
Yes? Bundles haven't come with actual boxes in ages, it's nothing new and every site that revealed the bundle showed it wasn't in an actual case.
Wii U Deluxe sets come with NintendoLand in a standard, retail case. *shrug*
I think the confusion comes from the fact that ACIII's retail packaging is clearly pictured on the front of the bundle's box.
Plus considering how small Vita game cases are, I'm surprised they didn't include it. Oh well. :S
My top Vita games, in no particular order:
1) Uncharted: Golden Abyss
2) LittleBigPlanet Vita
3) Gravity Rush
4) wipEout 2048
5) Sound Shapes
6) Super Stardust HD
7) Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack
8) PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale
9) Unit 13
10) Rayman: Origins
I also really like AC3: Lib, and I plan on getting Persona 4, Ragnarok Odyssey, and Zero Escape at some point in the future. Those top 10, though, are the ones I'd recommend to any Vita owner, and 4 of the games on that list are free with PS+ (the bolded ones)
EDIT: Here's my current games load out on my Vita (taken from my post in the Vita PSN Games thread):

Does anyone recommend those Vita hand grip things? I've found my Vita a little awkward to hold and I'm wondering if this would help.

Something interesting, I've always been a hardcore Nintendo fan. Born and raised on the NES, during that era. When the N64 was around, I owned both it the PS1 (Crash, Tomb Raider, Gran Turismo, RE and some other series'), but after that gen.....I began to have loathing for all things Sony. I really loved my GCN, while also owning a PS2- I didn't own much on it. After the Mikami RE4 incident I and PS3 pricing arrogance (to me), I vowed to not return to anything Sony. I own a Wii, quickly jumped to 360, instead of PS3. However, my anti Sony (it was big anti) stance, began to cool after looking at what they've done to foster gamer gaming series and philosophies. I realized they've built up some interesting series, but wasn't going to invest in their console. Then the Vita was announced, of course it seemed interesting, but I picked 3DS - but still mildly wanted a Vita. So, my partner preordered one for Feb release as a Xmas gift. I've been enjoying both ever since.
Now, I'm beginning (in some ways) to show more interest in Sony again. In fact, the Vita has made me admire their handheld philosophy for being different and in some ways, more core than Nintendo. People say all Vita owner must love and adore Sony. I don't, but I've warmed up, and that's thanks to their handheld.
Anyone who got one during the deal, I hope you enjoy the system as much as I do.
I've been successful in avoiding the Steam sale so far. Have a massive backlog from the previous sales. Now with the Wii U, and Vita, my gaming budget for the year is all but blown. Persona will occupy me over the holidays, but I am really hoping for strong JRPG support for the Vita next year.
I just got my code for $10 off of Assassin's Creed III. Expires December 31st. Hopefully it drops down to $20-$30 again before then.
So...
UPS lost my package. Awesome job UPS.
They in fact claim they delivered it this morning and says I wasn't home. (I was) There is also no note on my door.
Also the tracking says it was attempted to be delivered to the airport...
Had to call them and they said they are going to call me in the next hour and see if they can get the driver to deliver it again this morning.
So mine shipped yesterday, but UPS's tracking never updated or even shows it having been picked up by UPS yet. On the phone with Amazon to find out what's going on, so far they're telling me it won't show up till Tuesday, then why did I pay extra for Saturday delivery, when I could have had it the same day with free shipping.
*edit*
She just came back asking if I would go pick it up (no idea where the nearest UPS pick up is), basically because UPS doesn't feel like delivering it today it seems. Basically if it doesn't show up by 7 pm I have to call back. Fun, fun.
Still stuck at Shipping Soon. I should have opted for the overnight delivery.
SHIPPED.
Awwwwww yeah.

If you have large hands like myself, I recommend against the trigger grips and suggest the hori grips. They are plastic"ier", but they have adjustable handles/grips. Night and day for me at least. I do own both for this opinion and prefer/use the nori since I bought them exclusively.

Will the codes be delivered via e-mail or will they come inside the package?
Now just to get rid of my black one
By email.
Man they haven't even shipped mine yet. :/
