This Vita bundle is insane... (Vita, mem card, AssCreed $179.99 WOW)

Yeah, latest sound drivers definitely helped. Still get some weird audio/video problems when streaming videos, but it seems to be related to the wireless network adapter because they go away when I'm on ethernet (which is most of the time). But yeah, I imagine I'm gonna be playing Vita a bunch over the holidays (even though I've been getting things off the Steam sale too...)
 
So judging from what I've seen so far, you can only have virtual 2 memory cards per game. For someone like me who likes to save and save often, is there a way around that aside from copying saves back and forth between my PS3 and Vita? Does this go away once I get my PS+ subscription? Many thanks in advance!

I've been successful in avoiding the Steam sale so far. Have a massive backlog from the previous sales. Now with the Wii U, and Vita, my gaming budget for the year is all but blown. Persona will occupy me over the holidays, but I am really hoping for strong JRPG support for the Vita next year.

Wii U Deluxe sets come with NintendoLand in a standard, retail case. *shrug*

I think the confusion comes from the fact that ACIII's retail packaging is clearly pictured on the front of the bundle's box.
Plus considering how small Vita game cases are, I'm surprised they didn't include it. Oh well. :S

I assumed it came in its own case too since it shows it in a case on the box. That false advertising!

When the N64 was around, I owned both it the PS1 (Crash, Tomb Raider, Gran Turismo, RE and some other series'), but after that gen.....I began to have loathing for all things Sony. I really loved my GCN, while also owning a PS2 - I didn't own much on it. After the Mikami RE4 incident I and PS3 pricing arrogance (to me), I vowed to not return to anything Sony. I own a Wii, quickly jumped to 360, instead of PS3. However, my anti Sony (it was big anti) stance, began to cool after looking at what they've done to foster gamer gaming series and philosophies. I realized they've built up some interesting series, but wasn't going to invest in their console. Then the Vita was announced, of course it seemed interesting, but I picked 3DS - but still mildly wanted a Vita. So, my partner preordered one for Feb release as a Xmas gift. I've been enjoying both ever since.
Now, I'm beginning (in some ways) to show more interest in Sony again. In fact, the Vita has made me admire their handheld philosophy for being different and in some ways, more core than Nintendo. People say all Vita owner must love and adore Sony. I don't, but I've warmed up, and that's thanks to their handheld.

Anyone who got one during the deal, I hope you enjoy the system as much as I do.
 
I hope I can find someone willing to buy AssCreed for $20. I'll put that toward SFxTK or P4 when either of them drop to $20.

I picked up the nyko battery grip for the vita which looks the same as the one you are looking at but will double the vita's life. Its very comfortable and you are able to charge both the vita and add-on battery at the same time because the grip accepts the vita charging cable. Got like 8-11 hours play time on my last international flight.

Same. I'll probably pick up The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, then I'll be done for the year.

Also, getting trophies in Welcome Park is somewhat addicting. I haven't touched anything else I've transferred over yet...

Amazon is getting shit lately (Prime too!) they're shipping everything VIA USPS :( should of had this monday, says wednesday now.

Is there anywhere online you can order psp vita cases? Will just print a cover if I have to.

So mine shipped yesterday, but UPS's tracking never updated or even shows it having been picked up by UPS yet. On the phone with Amazon to find out what's going on, so far they're telling me it won't show up till Tuesday, then why did I pay extra for Saturday delivery, when I could have had it the same day with free shipping.

She just came back asking if I would go pick it up (no idea where the nearest UPS pick up is), basically because UPS doesn't feel like delivering it today it seems. Basically if it doesn't show up by 7 pm I have to call back. Fun, fun. Plus it turns out I couldn't go pick it up cause UPS doesn't know where it actually is right now.

EDIT: I like how I am not downloading the firmware for 1.8 and it is installing off the card or something ... Why not just have it already installed :\

Really? That's surprising... Didn't the wii packaged with new super mario bros. show an actual box? That came in a cardboard envelope.
 
Well, I went out and Purchased Persona 4: Golden today. Come on, Amazon! Get my package to my apartment by the time I get home.

Edit: Fuuuuuuuuuu -- they tried to deliver this morning, but I was asleep and I have to sign for it. Noooooooooooooo. :(
 
Can't wait to play Persona 4. Going to wait until finals are over though, because that shit is gonna take 100 hours at least and I need to be IN IT.

Also, Virtua Tennis 4 is great. I grabbed it for $12 at RCSS (Canada) and have been having a lot of fun with it.
 
I dont see the gold deal items when I look at my order invoice. Is it like that for anyone else?

And is there a thread somewhere listing the future titles coming out for the Vita?

it's quite literally the same shape except the Nyko one has a battery in it. I can say though that they're really, really damn comfy. I haven't really taken mine off since I bought it.

The fact that mine hasn't shipped yet is probably a blessing in disguise. I've got to hunker down and write a paper tomorrow, and I doubt I'd have been able to give it my full attention.
 
Oh yeah, forgot to come in here and say I jumped on it. $180 for all that was too good a deal to pass up, plus I said I was never even going to consider a Vita until it came packed with a memory card and there it is, so all the planets aligned for me. Getting PSABR, Gravity Rush, and Wipeout out of the box sealed the deal (I already have a PS+ sub, so the extra 3 months are nice but I didn't need them ;))

So +1 for Vitaville or whatever it's called. Worst case scenario I get a nice stream of random games on PS+, so I doubt I'll have nothing to play on it for a while.
 
Wow some of y'all got really lucky on shipping. Ordered yesterday right when it was live, and I dont get it until Wednesday, and this is with Prime.
