Yes! Amazon is finally delivering my Vita today. Just need to power through on one more paper for class, and then it's go time!
I would get a screen protector first. I have the Sony brand one and it's great.

Haven't gotten my AC3 code either but I have everything else and my Vita is well on it's way to me.
Wonder if I should contact CS and see if I can sweet talk them into $10 promo credit too. Not going to use it anyway since I don't own a 360/PS3 right now but $10 promo credit means getting another Vita game for a lot cheaper!

arent they releasing hot shots for ps3 with crossplay? was planning on waiting for that to get the package deal.
FYI many game demos are actually the entire game. When you want to buy it you just download a 100kb file which unlocks it.

News of PSO2 being Japan only release means I'm probably going to just return the damned thing to Amazon.
It's a nice price for people who are interested; but I'll wait for this thing to go Dreamcast. Buy one on the cheap down the road, and play the two or three exclusives on it that I really desperately want to play.

My Vita's in Coffeyville, KY. Gonna be a while 'fore I see it. I went ahead and checked out everything that looked interesting in this month's PS+ freebie bath last night so I don't miss out when I eventually want to DL. Keeping an eye on cheap accessories on Amazon.ca in the meantime.

Sony knows what side their portable bread is buttered on, and it's not the Western market.

I'm really hoping for a PSO2 'merica version for the Vita too, but thankfully there's enough other crap and I have enough spending money that I can justify this dying hardware to myself.

Remember you have 30 days for the return. I'm not totally sold on my unit yet either as the lack of a streaming option is hard to swallow but I'll give it a full test drive.

Sony consistently outclasses the competition in the handheld space, and I won't count smartphones ever due to lack of controls.
I've owned every PSP and have been incredibly satisfied with all of Sony's portable hardware. Unlike PSP though, Vita lacks any compelling software for my tastes presently.
I've already got a 3DS taking up the spot for vastly under used fancy new handheld with limited software selection in my life. At the very least 3DS has two games I want, one app that's fan-f'ing-tastic (COLORS), and one on the way (Shantae! Shantae! Shantae!).
And it sucks behaving like a fiscally responsible adult; but I really don't need to dogpile my existing consumer debt with this purchase.

I stopped finger painting when I got out of first grade.
This is the same problem I have with iOS art apps. No adequate input device.
Glad to hear Colors is available on Vita though. It's been great for years and I'm glad they're finally making a buck off of it.
Although I may snag a dirt cheap DSlite to get my pressure sensitivity back.
I've had fun with it so far. I like that the action is fast-paced, and the quests can usually be done in 5-15 minutes, so it's a good game for short bursts of gameplay.

Screen will be fine if you are careful. Mine is pristine, and I kept it in the little foam pouch it is wrapped in whenever it wasn't in my hands for a couple of weeks before my case arrived.
Wrong. From experience I can inform you that it is always a bitch to put a screen protector on. Try the advice of people earlier in this thread: apparently if you run the shower for a few minutes before you put the screen on in the bathroom that will disperse the dust in the air.

Oh and 3G PSV with LBP and mem card is 199 at Amazon regularly. Still a good deal for Euros. There's also a PSV + PSBAR bundle at Media Markt for 197 . Around the same price as the 3DS XL bundle, pretty insane if you think about it.

I feel yeah..I always like putting a screen protector on any new device before using.
The hori screen protectors are the best...can get them at best buy and game stop stores.
