Just finished getting the True End in 999. Holy shit that was amazingly awesome! It's been forever since I loved an ending so much.
While I had kinda guessed most of the twists, the way they orchestrated and planned every single detail is second to none, down to random little bits of seemingly pointless dialogue. So many little things just start fitting so perfectly. Sure it's not without it's flaws, but it's one of if not the most cleverly crafted narratives I've ever experienced in a game.
Absolutely loved the way they did that spin at the end where they tie the gameplay into the plot in such a meaningful way. It's so hard to do right but it came of brilliantly here, People who have done Crisis Core's ending will get a rough idea of what I mean.
Now you have to make sure you get the True End, which mean you'll have to get another ending first, but to me honest I recommend getting them all, except Coffin. Each ending gives you all these little details that help you figure stuff out and adds to the overall plot. It took me about 20 hours give or take. If you really wanted, you could get a Spoiler Free walkthrough. And make sure you go to the official website and check Answers after you get the True End.
If there's any chance you can play 999, you have to. Because if Virtue's Last Reward is even half as good it'll be in the top 3 games I've played this year across all platforms. If you are even remotely interested in a puzzles, mysteries, an awesome story or good characters, you absolutely have to play 999. Sure you could do a YouTube run, but that should only be a last resort as certain things won't be experienced properly, like the aforementioned gameplay twist at the end.
So fellow Vitabros. Play 999, and then play Virtue's Last Reward. You won't regret it

Sad part is I've been wanting Little Deviants as a little game to play when I just want something casual and fun. I want to get it physically so I can save memory card space but I have a feeling when I do get it, the following month's plus freebies will have it.

Well, you can still tie an account to it for use; so if you wanted to, you could use it to store some games as well and swap cards... or you could use it as an alt account, so you can DL things off other markets (say JPN).
Selling/trading probably won't get you jack, though.

Well, it's Sigma 2, so if you just played NG2, you might be disappointed in some of the additions/omissions. And assuming they want to keep the game looking like its big brother, it'll probably run at 30fps.
But yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Especially if they add new missions like they did in Sigma Plus.
From what I've been lead to believe, you absolutely have to play 999 first. Not only will it help you more appreciate VLR, but also so it doesn't spoil the 999 if you play VLR first
If you don't update, then you won't get dem free games I think.
The CFW for Vita isn't robust enough for anything other than tinkering yet.

At least from the vita homebrew thread I'm seeing posters saying they are able to run snes emulators on the system.
I'm just gonna update. Will get PSABR and FFVIII, which will totally fill up my 4gb memory in an instant

Looks cool. I'm a little sick of Match-3, but it's Futurlab, and they seem to be doing some cool things with it, so I'm game.
Also, I may need to pick up a 32gb card soon. Definitely not at $100, but when I can get it for $60 or less I'm going to. My 16gb card is almost full now. It helps that I buy retail titles at retail, but I have about 20 PSN titles and at least that many minis/PSP games, so it's adding up.
Basically, you can run the same PSP CFW stuff. It's not really worth it, especially if (like me) you have a CFW PSP already.

It's out on the Asian PSN right? It has practically zero text in it, if not a few lines. I just don't understand how it takes so long to localize/prepare something for a different PSN store/region, unless they have to do some crazy shenanigans to just get it to work in other regions.

So I've put about 2 hours into the Uncharted game so far and I have to admit I'm liking it. I've never played an Uncharted game before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I hear tell around these parts that it was disappointing to some because it doesn't match up to the PS3 Uncharted games. Anyone here want to weigh in? I'm only interested because my experience so far with the game does not seem to match up with a lot of the other opinions I've been reading.
I will die laughing if the Gravity Rush clock still uses the "Gravity Daze" name.

I think it's good. Where it lacks compared to Uncharted 2 is it's narrative and characterisation. But I'm not really bothered by that. My main gripe is all the touch screen stuff and the rest of the gimmicky annoyances. Sometimes I felt it was merely a test run of the Vita features.
If it wasn't for all that, I would have ranked it alongside Uncharted 1+3. I really liked the treasure integration, and gyro aiming is awesome. It's just that all the rest if the forced Vita functions kinda spoiled it for me. Especially the swiping near the end. Who on earth thought that was a good idea?
Still if you don't mind stuff like that then you shouldn't have a problem
Its actually a very good game, everything you read from outside this thread needs to be taken into consideration with a huge chunk of salt.
Enjoy it! Just started last week as well and I love the exploration already.
I've been gaming on smartphones for awhile, so gimmicky swipe controls don't get to me anymore.
I do like the way they've set up the collectibles, though I feel that there could be a less clunky way to access a menu to see how many and what of you need. The picture stuff is cool though, and once I get used to the menu navigation I'm sure it will be fine.
The game was great! But man, you should play Uncharted 2 after this. One of the best games ever made.

I got ps+ and started uncharted and in super impressed by it though one puzzle didnt work well on the train....the hold the parchment to the light what a mess. I mean i like it but it just doesn't work in the train.
Also got thethering to my vita at lunch now i can play marvel vs capcom 3 online and black ops at my desk-fucking heaven lol
