Wii-U - Amazon listing UK prices and launch date

I honestly have no idea which couriers are bad or good. Though I remember the one Tesco used for the 3DS refused to leave my 3DS hidden behind the outer door despite me leaving a note saying they may. It funny thing is that another courier decided if was safe to leave their parcel there despite the lack of permission.

I seem to be the only person still stuck with "Processing" on their paid for ShopTo order. No texts, no update. Other people, via Eurogamer forums (what a horrid place) are posting pics of their ShopTo delivery this morning. Pretty miffed...
 
I've just had a text and email from Amazon giving me the hour slot that my delivery will be made, pretty cool. 14:14 - 15:14 for me (apparently). DPD are carrying mine.

I won't be getting my U until tomorrow, but I'm incredibly jealous of all who will be getting theirs today. Get plenty of unboxings and pictures taken folks.
 
GAME are up to their usual tricks.

Just phoned up a friend trying to flog him insurance cover on the unit for £59.99 a year.
They told him some utter bull - according to them, the one year manufacturer's warranty only covers the console and not the gamepad so if it goes wrong, you have to buy a whole new console as you can't buy the gamepad on its own......

Yeah........

Order update: my games and screen protector are now all marked as Dispatching Soon too..
 
On the phone to ToyRus for the last 25 mins to find out if they have my order in store. How long can it take to find out if the boxes have arrived.

EDIT: 30 mins now and still holding. 0__o

I wrote on one of the previous pages not to worry about HDNL, I wouldn't trust them one bit when I lived in London and so much went missing... But I was awaiting delivery back home (Sheffield) and I hadn't arrived, I gripes about it on twitter and they chased up not just that delivery but then for the rest of the week.

So I can't criticise great effort on their behalf.

Wtf does processing for dispatch mean? Mines been saying that all morning. Seriously doubting it's gonna make it for tomorrow.

Does this mean the SORM number should already work on tnt, or possibly not until tomorrow? I don't mind if my console doesn't come until tomorrow, but its the way the SORM number doesn't do anything on TNT that's a little worrying.

Still trying to work that out myself. My SORM number still isn't working anyway.
 
My Amazon order is still "Dispatchin soon". I hoped they would ship it yesterday so I'd have it by tomorrow but now I'll have to wait until Monday. Not that I'm upset due to the 199 quid price and it's been the same for evey videogame stuff I've bought from them in the last couple of years so I'll survive.

Yeah I'm unable to track as well. Gonna be really sad if it doesn't come today as my dispatch email said "TNT "24h Delivery within UK" Excl. Chan. Islands". Was dispatched first thing yesterday morning so it really should be today.

The email I get from Sainsbury's letting me know it has been sent out by DPD, has a tracking link that doesn't work.

Would have been handy to know what time it's expected to be delivered.
 
shopto said my one got dispatched yesterday, shipping it with TNT but like most of the people here are saying, their tracking service isn't doing shit.

I'm skipping uni today incase it comes, really hoping I don't have to skip two days but we'll see.

Same. Said that tnt are having tracking issues and if you got a dispatch email yesterday, it should be with you today.

A quick bit of poking around on twitter suggests that some people have contacted TNT and their ShopTo orders are out for delivery today, with the codes not working. I'm still expecting mine tomorrow, but that's encouraging!

My U arriving in Sheffield tomorrow as well. Amazon finally sent it out at 5.45am this morning! :)
 
My Amazon order is being delivered today between 12:30-1:30, yerse!

Lovefilm have also sent out ZombiU to me today, so I should have something other than Nintendo Land to play tomorrow.

Same here. I've never used DPD before but I'm hoping they make a better effort than HDNL/Yodel.

No update since 21.40 last night:

Details of the consignment have been received from the consignor, but the collection Depot has yet to scan any goods.
 
Mines changed to dispatching soon. Think I'm going a little crazy. You'd think I'd be used to this by now, but I'm like this every time I order something nice. Good to have company for a change though.
 
Had my DPD e-mail last night, but still no delivery window showing for today. Well, I'll keep cautiously optimistic. The idea of getting it a day before launch has always just been a nice bonus anyway.
