THQ Humble Bundle is up (THQ needs your money lol)

I don't own any of those games except SR 3 (on 360) and I don't have a PC that can run any of them, but I'll throw them $1 for the rest of those games I guess, even though I can't play them. Maybe some lucky GAFfer's will have a christmas present incoming.

Are there really 13 days left on this? Then I'll wait. I have only a few bucks in my bank account and don't get new money for a few days.

Come on, man. That's like kicking a dog that's dying of cancer. :(

amazing bundle. SR3 is incredible

+1

Shots at THQ aside, they aren't dead yet folks. I don't get the people in here thinking this isn't worth the $6.01 for all games. SR3 is amazing, Metro is great, and the rest are solid games. At the very least this preps you for Metro: Last Light. :P

i owned them all already but i bought a set for the soundtracks. that's worth it.

still waiting for my email with the link since i don't plan on downloading them at work.

Hahaha.

I slid the charity and humble tip sliders down to zero. Since I want THQ to get all my money. That's the real charity here.

Twitter is blowing up with indie devs being really upset by this bundle.
I don't really see the problem myself, really. This will not affect them at all.

Got the Bundle, want to activate Saint's Row 3 but can't "because it is not available in my country"..... can you gift the keys??

in, let a friend activate the game for me and then gift it to me?

Humble THQ Bundle threatens to ruin the brand's reputation

Since its successful debut back in 2010, the Humble Bundle has built a reputation for combining little-known independent games with a popular pay-what-you-want model and platform-agnostic, DRM-free downloads.

The company's latest bundle, a partnership with major publisher THQ, could ruin that reputation in one stroke by abandoning some of the core principles that made the Humble Bundle so refreshingly different two years ago.

While past Humble Bundles have prided themselves on offering their games as DRM-free downloads for Windows, Mac, or Linux, though, the THQ bundle breaks precedent by providing games only as Steam-activated Windows downloads.

Indie devs must be pissed that this even exists
They're probably happier they get more money spent on them though.

Threw $6 down. Honestly, I mainly just wanted CoH without being tied to GameFly after the fiasco with games not carrying over due to not sorting out license arrangements or because the rating's AO... then pulling NWN2 after they DID put it up for download. Yeah, don't want that to happen in a worst case scenario with Company of Heroes, especially before I even seriously play it.

Yeah that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. This is very much a Humble Bundle, so what if it is coming from one of the few publishers who has taken some goddamn risks lately?
