THQ Humble Bundle is up (THQ needs your money lol)

I gave $2 for the bundle as a christmas present to someone.....they already played Metro so it's mainly for Darksiders and Company of Heroes. Red Faction Armageddon.....THQ should pay people to play that.

guys post more about how sick and clever you are for not giving any money to thq. fuck the system, rage against the machine!!!

I have never owned or even played any of these games... $6 well spent. Yeah I spent a bit more than the average, but I felt slightly generous.

This actually seems like a smart idea for THQ, even if it comes from a desperate position. I already own SR3 and Metro, and I put in a few bucks for the other games.

Got the Bundle, want to activate Saint's Row 3 but can't "because it is not available in my country"..... can you gift the keys??

in, let a friend activate the game for me and then gift it to me?

Activating the key on Steam will just add it your library. You can't get gift copies even if you already own the game.

edit: to be clear activating a key with a game you already own wont eat up the key unless the key contains other games you don't own.

indie devs can be annoying as shit.

Not ALL indie devs, but there are some that have a "we are indie, we are so important and the most important!"

The recent Kickstarter fiasco is a perfect example, without people learning about Kickstarter due to bigger names going to it they would have a much smaller audience to learn from.

There are some that are different, but there are a vocal minority of indie devs that piss me off and make me hate supporting them because they have this air of arrogance about them for being indies.

I like how the average price drops a few cents every time I look. If I jump in above the average price now will I get Darksiders 2 after they add it to the bundle out of desperation in a few days?

5.23. Ouch.

I think I will get this, even though Armageddon doesn't seem to be that interesting and I have the other games minus the CoH expansions. But fuck, I want CoH on Steam, FUCK three tousand consecutive updates.

My free copy of RF: Guerilla never worked, btw, still a bit bummed about that, THQ. And my UK copy of DoW2 didn't work, didn't register on Steam. And my copy of SR2 didn't work past the first level and had tons of streaming issues and weird bugs (maybe I have a magic copy). Still, don't die THQ.

So you select almost any amount and get *all* those games?

Shit. I thought buying CoH for 2.50 on steam was cheap. I wouldn't mind having the CoH expansions on steam (retail version suck with all the patches).

$5.22 for BTA?

It keeps falling. This isn't like any other indie bundle.

What it means is that people are satisfied with the other AAA titles for a $1. If it continues like this, this may be a historically low priced bundle, which is disturbing given the games that are in it.

You know, this is not funny at all, many people will lose their jobs and as a creator see your work by $1 must be depressing. Hope the best for you THQ people.

You need to do at least $5 to grab Saints Row 3 plus the rest which you get at any price. Well, wait, does it have the dollar minimum on it?

AFAIK you get the bonus regardless i.e. even if the bonus will be "beat the average" as long as you bought it before it is added to your account.

I bought it at $5.28 for Saints Row, Darksiders, and Metro 2033. Plus whatever else comes down the pipe. Would have spent more if there were DRM-free installers.

EDIT: Actually, I wonder if I'll even play these. Regret.

I knew people would be very angry with this. I think it's cool. It's not advertised as an "indie bundle."

That's some salty entitlement especially from Terry (take it Super Hexagon won't feature in a future Humble then?). They probably should've gone for DRM free, but lets face it most successful bundles (humble or otherwise) provide Steam keys. It's what most people want RE: DRM. And many previous games in these bundles have not been available on Linux or Mac and most of the money comes from Windows users.

I don't see Humble Bundle as a brand really. Indies just getting salty 'cause their precious cash cow isn't flowing money into their account for once.

So If I pay $1.00 right now, and a new game is added, will I be grandfathered and receive it like other bundles in the past or do I beat the average? I want to buy an extra copy for my brother but in no way I'm paying more... :P

uh more like why not support something if you like their products?

So, you're saying that THQ should NOT be offering a PAY WHAT YOU WANT TO WHOM YOU WANT bundle of their games? This was their idea, not ours. You can't be mad that people don't want to pay much for old THQ games that were not that good in the first place....I'm sure THQ isn't upset about people playing their games.

But it's THQ. Would that truly be shocking?

You have to beat the average usually to be grandfathered in I think. Depends on the bonuses that are added though probably.
