That is a really nice shot. Could you redo that one without the HUD? (turn off in options)

I'd have to find that place again, and I'm currently very far away for it.

Will do once I'm there again though.

AC3: Lib looks so good. I'll be posting screenshots from it for awhile methinks.

Yeah, I made it to about chapter 11 and ending up putting it down for some reason. I haven't picked it back up yet.

Is there a "chapter select" or something at the end of the game, because I've missed some of the unique Navi bosses...

A couple of the old areas open up just before the end of the game
by speaking to two certain people
.

And Pyromaniac, Gravity Rush is the only game I've platinumed and I think it's fairly easy, though frustrating, to do so. Most of the challenges would probably need to be played a couple of time before you can obtain the gold medal, and upgrades are a godsend.

Edit: This thread really moves fast.

This thread is actually in sleep mode atm.

And god damn. I was hoping to quickly get done with Sine Mora to make some free space again. But god damn is it amazing, and it still kicks my ass. Nice, nice.

Persona 4 is GOD-LIKE

It only gets better and better. Of all my Vita games, though, this is the only one that has any type of ghosting issues. I know the "TV" filter contributes to it somewhat, but it's even there outside of the dungeons.

Giving me PSP flashbacks :-X

Every Pixeljunk game should be on the Vita store. Such a perfect, built-in collection of games for this thing. I'd buy Eden twice to play it here.

Has anyone in North America been able to transfer Motorstorm Arctic Edge on to the Vita from the PS3? It's not in the Vita version of the store.

But its only 10 bucks these days on PSN. PLEASE let this be playable on Vita. I have the UMD but I never have my PSP charged these days. I want this on the Vita!

I love wipeout but I hate the fact that for some reason the series is so niche or just unpoppular :/ that sony ended up killing the studio...

What killed Psygnosis/Liverpool was the F1 license.

They focused so much on the F1 games during PS2 era, make nothing else and abandoned Wipeout for years and years, when they lost F1 they returned to Wipeout, but now the fans went and they were no new fans gained from the PS2 days(since they were on F1 train) and so Psygnosis/Liverpool was alone with an IP with no new fans and no new IPs or anything.

PD will die too when no one care anymore about GT(sim racing genre is declining like mad already and most of the games bombs)and that stupid studio focus on only one IP,PD need to start making new IPs/different types of games.

I don't know why Liverpool went three cycles doing nothing but Wipeout games (and F1 I guess, but who gives a shit about that). After Wipeout Pulse flopped hard, I would've refocused the team's efforts onto something a bit more adventurous, a bit less safe. Instead they spent their time redoing the PSP games over and over again on different systems.

As it is, Liverpool was a one-trick pony that stubbornly went back to the same poisonous well. Even Naughty Dog saw fit to diversify, and they could've coasted on Uncharted's success forever. Such a shame too, since 2048 is visually stunning and pioneered great ideas on Vita like cross-play.

Quick googling says it works in EU but not NA. Couldn't tell you much other than that. :(

Patapon 2 download code is $3.99 on eBay:

Should I get it?

Grabbed one, thanks for the heads up.

Started Jet Set Radio, not feeling the controls in this game at all. Hard to get momentum and easy to lose it, a lot of times due to quirks in the level geometry. Have to carefully align yourself with anything because the jumping feels unpredictable. And the way the camera pulls up UNDERNEATH you when making a big jump, what the fuck is that? How are you supposed to aim your landing?

Jump at the end of a boost to keep your momentum going, boost as you land. As for the camera - yes, it sucks. The only real way to work around it is to memorize the environment.

Random PSP recommendation time.

Buy Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure if you like action platformers or want a 3D Zelda like experience and very easy to pick and play on your Vita, and it look absolutely gorgeous on the system.

I gave it
8.5 hidden gems out of 10 hidden gems

Haha, it's just one hole by the corner? They're probably ones given to retailer employees by sony then. That's what they do with those copies, they drill a small in the case and manual.

If you want a boxed copy of Patapon 2 and you get lucky, you may be able to find one at Sears for under 3 dollars. I snagged one about 7 months ago so you may be outta luck there.

Wipeout is such a good game, beautiful graphics and great soundtrack. I can't stop playing it, I'm neglecting my other titles.

I'm looking at buying a new title soon, should I get P4P or Virtues Reward?

I don't think it does. Which infuriates me, because it's a GREAT game and I would love to play it on Vita :-(

Wipeout looks good until you do Zone Mode on the Fury maps and then see the lack of AA. Ugh.

You are correct! God like indeed. I am going through the game super slow play for a few hours every other day or so. I never want it to end T_T.

I haven't seen any ghosting though. I may just be blinded by hype though >.>

I LOVE SoundShapes. This is a game I had 0 interest in. Ever since the game was unveiled, I couldnt understand the fuss and anticipation. I believed it was indie/hipster, pretentious and just something reviewers/preview peeps were hyping for some cred.

Boy, was I wrong. Nothing I had seen prior to downloading and playing it myself, on a whim, could prepare me for the surreal vibe, awesome music and just - Its a game where the musc and artwork form, creating something that feels alive - like the game is built around levels that become fully composed, self aware, living and organic places.

simply stunning.

The later Deadmaus levels can go die in a fire, though >_<

Nice to hear :-) It's awesome. Love that game.

anyone used this case before? or screen protectors?
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006X0KBY6/?tag=neogaf0e-20

not sure if leaving the vita bare is a sound idea

I still have that case but dont use it, its a fine case though. Its very hard on the outside and the inside is rubberized with a bunch of game holders. It comes with a set of game skins you can insert into the plastic to customize the case too.

I only stopped using it because I bought a nice leather case from sfbags.

just opened the vita from amazon (got it free with credits)

gosh it's a pretty device.
hmm just to check. the way the top right hand notification centre works.. you won't get a notification within the game/store right? i skipped the tooltip :/
