My uncle lives in Tampa, and we went to see a Rays game. Tropicana is easily the worst stadium I have ever been in.

I'm actually one of the few who like it. I've been to Wrigley and Fenway, and while it's complete shit in comparison to classic baseball parks, the Trop can be a decently entertaining place. The only gripe I have is the bullshit catwalk rules.

Plus, in the 150 degree Florida heat being indoors is a blessing.

my family flew in from Chicago for the Bears/Jags game this year since that is cheaper than going to a Bears home game. The Jags actually removed some tarp since it was technically a Bears home game

got to be careful, apparently bears fans have a high chance of death when coming to town

I completely agree. The ACC's record in BCS games is abhorrent, as is their record in recent years versus other conferences during the regular season. It's pathetic. But for these teams to be mediocre and then to (allegedly) be unhappy with the mediocrity of ACC football (and, therefore, television revenue), is absurd. If the traditional football teams were nationally competitive, the league as a whole would have benefited. The traditional basketball schools are simply not going to carry the league, although they might be competitive here and there.

Idk, every school goes through a few years of mediocrity. Even throughout the years of mediocrity, FSU still managed to win 3 out of 4 bowl games. At least we managed to show up on the national level :\

They still haven't realized that Thompson is out and they insist on the horrible slow developing running plays on third and short situations. Frustrating.

why give the ball to pryor or wilder for an easy first down up the middle when you can do something cute?!

There is a quite a difference in talent between Tech and UF's dline, Huff

Bama better count they blessings they dont have to matchup against dem Badgers.

7-5 doesn't look too hot but the record is a bit of an aberration. The Badgers lost 3 games in OT and the other 2 by 3 and 4 points.

It doesn't mean they'll win tonight but they haven't been getting run over this season.

Holy shit at that run. Nebraska had holding near the 50 that wasn't called but I don't mind. That was a crazy good play.

All of the schools being mediocre at the same time is what hurt. You could handle FSU being down if Clemson and Miami were hot. The first few years, it was basically Virginia Tech carrying the league banner by themselves. And now FSU and Clemson are somewhat back, and the Hokies are mediocre. :/
