So should the WR have gone midsection with the block? What's the proper way to block somebody not looking at you?

Edit: That sounded like me being a smartass but I was actually curious as to how he should block in that situation.

From his position and the angle of the play and how he was set, a two handed shove would have sent him down to the ground. Everything else here was excessive. A shoulder hit was ok, but he clearly tried to hurt that guy.

Every hit is harder than it has to be.

You seem to have a problem with the Huskers with how you're diagnosing how embarrassed they are. I've hit people like that before with the only intent of making a block.

Edit: another embarrassing effort on D.
I have no problem with Nebraska. I'm just staying my opinion on the block. And it is a fact they are indeed getting embarrassed.

I'm just a fan of maximum derp. So if anything I'm liking Nebraska losing like this just to make the Rose Bowl look bad.

lmao. That stiff arm was absolutely brutal.

I was really pumped for this game and winning the B1G, but as usual we completely suck when it matters most.

In belated defense of Stanford attendance...

The weather is awful and it is pretty much finals week. Undergrads are pretty hype about the team in general.

Excuses excuses. :p An attendance of 31,622 out of a 50,000 seat stadium during a conference championship game is pathetic, rain or shine. What excuses will Stanford fans use for not showing up at the Rose Bowl? I know it's not cheap to go but that doesn't stop fans from other teams showing their support.

Well, the Rose Bowl happens in winter. It'll probably be raining down in LA.

You know how LA drivers can be in the rain.

To be honest I WISH it were raining earlier this year. We had good seats but the sun was blinding us for half the game. 90 degrees + hot sun on face and eyes + close proximity to people + kinda buzzed on rum = kinda uncomfortable lol.

Dear Sweet Linus Nebraska.

63?

Well, its happened once before.
