They are a bowl eligible team coming out of the SECSECSEC. Ask A&M and LSU about Ole Miss' doormat status.
Again, you should never ever boast about beating Ole Miss. I don't care if they go 13-1 and win the MNC. It's Ole Miss for christsakes.

How would they do that without making themselves ineligible in the process?

Tiebreakers would be my guess, I dunno. If you only had to go 1-1 in your last two games to be 6 and 6, and you knew that dropping a game to one team sent them to the CCG instead of you vs a team you cannot beat, you probably lose that game and take your chances on the second.

You scheduled Ole Miss. Ole Miss. That would be like thumping your chest about scheduling a B1G team when you played Indiana or Michigan.

All I know is, we beat Ole Mis by 35 points, you beat them by only 19 points. Therefore, we beat Alabama, and we should be in the National Championship game.

What are the consequences for "winning" even though you fumbled on your opponent's goal line?

Damn son, you're like the Dead Sea, you're full of salt.

Had you not choked to bottom-feeders TCU and WVU, I might be inclined to agree with you.

Ho dup

How is TCU a bottom feeder?

When their defense got busted for dealing drugs in a school zone, and their qb was thrown off the team for being stoned.

And yet there are people who believe that the Big12 is either the 1st or 2nd best conference this year. Look out our FANTASTIC OOC record! (don't look at the actual teams though).

They have 2 teams ranked in the AP top 25.

(Now, here's hoping the big Pac-12/Big-12 3 bowl series works out in the Pac's favor ;) )

I don't think anyone gets to puff their chests out this year. All conferences have warts. And to me it's clear that despite their OOC records, the SEC is still way beyond all the others. The top 6 is ridiculously good

Playing against Charlie. Too bad, I really like that guy.

If not for straight up racism, Strong would be a head coach at an SEC school already. Maybe even Florida.
I don't think Florida was racist by not hiring him. He was just unproven enough. I also think Florida tried to hire him when Saban broke Meyer.
