There is a current rumor that says Peter just stops being Peter and is only Spidey now. No more secret identity.
Personally I'm not sure if I buy it though.

Also, can we get some better art on Ironman? This shit is a joke.

That's only cool if
Him and MJ are back together

the reason they keep land around is becasue he is quick. thats all there is too it. i jsut wish he would stop bein sattled with Gillen

Since when did this ever matter to anybody at Marvel? They pay per page and aren't against 1. Switching artists on an arc to arc basis on a book and 2. switching artists on a page to page basis mid-issue. I would take five revolving door artists on a book over Land every other arc and it wouldn't cost Marvel a dollar more.

I would rather it was their tryout for the Marvel style book with a different up and comer every ish than shitastic Land. He's keeping me from agillen! *shakes fist*

A 2? Sounds like something Bridie would enjoy.

Just because a guy enjoyed Fear Itself doesn't mean he's gonna like ham-fisted attempts at "serious" characterization and repeated use of the same four faces for every character. I hope that for as wack as his tastes are, they aren't that wack. (But I love you still, Birdieman)

Hmm... Issue 1 and Issue 2.

I love it.

Wow. . .

Had a dream I went to a local artsy fartsy theater to see a screening of Green Lantern, only it wasn't the one that was released. It was worse! There were three vignettes. I forget the first one, I think it was just a generic origin story. The second one was a story involving Aquaman that was just stupid. The third had Neil Patrick Harris and Cobie Smulders in it too as buddies of GL. . .

I think Ryan Reynolds was still in it, but he was more Blade 3 era.

It was a pretty terrible dream movie, and dream Phonciple was there.

Then a burlesque show came in to set up after the flick and one of chicks was hot and muscular.

Yay dreams!

She's been wearing pants for a few months now! Uncanny X-Force is my most hyped comic from Marvel NOW. I haven't seen a team this great since Rogue's X-Men.

I'm just glad she's getting a new outfit for the first time in what...shit, since the original Mandarin trilogy in the 1980s, lol. I like Psylocke enough, but that Thongkini gotta go

I like that costume. Her normal one is totally ridiculous.

Not buying the non-Remender X-Force books though, I don't give enough shits about the characters to get hype and the creative teams aren't exciting me either. I wish I was easily pleased like you guys. OMG they're drawing Storm's hair diffrent!! Book of the year!

And Kieron has to write these highly detailed explanations of what's going on because Land can't draw and I still have no idea what the hell is going on. And his beard is back again! I felt like he he drew Tony with glasses because he didn't have enough time to draw his eyes.

They look like Star Trek rejects. :|

Or a dance troupe.

Stupid costumes. :|

You guys should all go. It's the best con in the nation and, added bonus, you'll get to watch TTOB cast the widest possible berths around my table!

FUN TIMES!

I still think AIDS is an airborne contagion is why! >:|

I've considered getting a con table, but I don't have a wild narcissistic streak or warez to peddle. Maybe once I take leave of trolling I'll produce something I might be able to sell to some suckers and make attending a convention as anything other than a civilian worthwhile.

Better yet, I'll set up shop in a refrigerator box down the street and make sketch cards in exchange for MD20/20.

Who knows! That's life.

Don't worry, female-Fantomex is on a group with MOHAWK STORM and SPIRAL. All will be well.

The thing I'm a bit pessimistic about is the team dynamic. They kept the people who had nothing left to offer and completed their arc imo, and made the core of the book bolt. EVA has a lot to offer so I'm stoked about her but
I mean Psylocke seemed to be done with the killing but shes back, Deadpool was grasping who he was more and changing before our eyes but hes out, Logan through it all still realized he had to keep getting his hands dirty but hes gone as well? I guess Psylocke is the heart and soul of the book now?

UXF #35 has to answer a ton of questions, building that bridge into the new series. I'm being very cautious with the new run, maybe giving it 4 issues max to reel me in.

I would be lying if I didn't say I was far more interested in what is going on in Cable's X-force team than this new Uncanny team. While I do wanna check out both, I would love to know what Forge is like now and how Cable puts this team together. Will Colossus go ape shit in this book combined with all the crap that just happened to him?

So there's a big staff meeting going on right now at DC's offices in New York today, and Rich is trying to stir up speculation on what it could all mean. Your guesses are as good as any, so what are your thoughts GAF?

Right now he's got:

1. The company is finally packing up and moving out to California, to be closer to the Warner Bros HQ.
2. Diane Nelson has taken another position within Warner Bros, and a new DC president is incoming.
3. A major shift in publishing from paper to digital is being announced, the death of print comics is nigh.

IGN gave Avengers #1 an 8.2.

The reviewer said the issue doesn't waste time with set up, but is more plot driven than character driven.

DC Meeting: Planning out the next 5 Green Lantern events, all one right after the other. How to get Swamp Thing to be a Green Lantern.

-ditching publishing and going digital
-major loses?
-new major crossover event or another stupid reboot
-more canned books
-Return to original timeline/universe event
-steam like store for indie comicbook artists and dc
-DC and Warner discussing what to do with CN contract
-young justice and DC Comics animation future
-movies/tv shows based on dc properties
-more dc content on CW besides Arrow

Bullshit. Bullshit.

The costume she used until now is not even a "reject". It is just a cheap fantasy-fill for 17 year-olds. Time to move on.

Between this and bringing back that glorious battle armor that she used in Australia, both options are better than leaving the half-cloth bullshit outfit as it was for the past 15-20 years :P

Edit: And now, let us all shed a tear for....
