Not to mention the lack of premium content, and the fact that I can't stand the GB Staff member that you like you so much. GOSH WORST.DAY.EVER.
 
And not one energy drink test for months... MAYBE YEARS. Obviously, they don't care about their viewers anymore. The fame and wealth has gone to their heads.

There's some stuff that might offend. It seems like Brad's problem with it has more to do with the second half or so not being as good as the first half. The second half does drag a little and doesn't feature as many fun characters.
 
All this Brad soliciting for ME3 multiplayer is going to draw me back in. If I wasn't so rusty, I'd send in my gamer tag, but I think I need to get back into the swing of things so I don't humiliate myself.

I do recall that I had a great time playing it.
 
Wow, 5 stars for Far Cry 3. After listening to them talk about it I figured it was going to be 4.

It did catch my attention that they started talking about how disappointed they were followed -immediately- by excitedly telling stories about the crazy things that happened to them in game.
 
There was zero chance they weren't going to be disappointed with however Far Cry ended. I haven't even played it yet, but they got all hyped up off each other for some big moment that was never going to come. It seems to have some clever and funny stuff which is probably present throughout, and an interesting villain (and fantastic gameplay experience) all of which is far more than I expected and probably enough to put it in my (and their) top 3 or so at least for the year.
 
Holy shit... I'm going through all the Star Trek TNG on Netflix right now and I'm on the episode where Joe Piscopo is playing a stand-up comic!!! We only need Morgan Fairchild and we could play poker!

that's... kind of creepy because so am I, and I made the exact same observation when I hit that episode
 
I hate to be that guy, but I can't help but feel terribly disappointed with GB's output lately. Not only did they not do anything for the City of Heroes MMO ending, but they have been wiffing on Quick Looks lately. No Killzone HD, Ratchet Full Frontal, When Vikings Attack, Wonderbook, Sports Champions 2...

Define "lately."

Since they have been back from the holiday break there have been 10 quick looks, 2 TNTs, and a Jar Time. Plus they are constantly saying that they are trying to play at least a little of the games the others want to include in their GOTY deliberations so they are knowledgeable (at least Brad has said this). I just do not understand the complaint is all....maybe in the summer, but now? Hardly.
 
Didn't Jeff mention that a bunch of their stuff broke recently or something, or am I imagining that?


I've been more than happy with their stuff lately, personally. Then again, I pretty much always am.
 
If I was mean I'd say I'm still waiting on that Dance Central 3 review. But I'm not. Shame they never gave Orcs Must Die 2 a quicklook though. Fun game that adds a lot over the original.
 
I'm bummed about no City of Heroes. Wonderbook could have been potentially funny but whatever.

I'm hoping for Blade Runner part 3 soon. And the return of load our last save.

Apparently City of Heroes was nothing but the devs shutting the servers off. No goodbye message, no big ass monsters running around wreaking havoc, nothing. Just a disconnect notice. It's sort of depressing.

That sucks. It's on sale this week and I was planning to watch the quick look because I figured there was one. Now I have to go watch some randoms on youtube play it to get my info

On the one hand, I appreciate them not having a lot of love for TD.

On the other hand, Orcs Must Die 2 is actually a fun take on it, removing many of my inherent misgivings with the genre.

I went out on Sunday and bought a 2012 Lexus IS 350. It’s white. I feel like I got a pretty good deal on it and the only issue I have is that the car’s display feels kind of dated. I haven't been listening to the Bombcast in a while, but did anyone but Vinny get around to playing through Binary Domain? It'd be a shame if it wasn't even included in their GOTY deliberations.

No, but at least Ryan and Brad have talked about how it's a game that they want to play before deliberations.
 
listening to the podcast, it does seem Brad does not feel like the console versions of Farcry 3 is up to snuff, yet in the review, it mentions "This review is for the PS3 and X360 and PC release of Far Cry 3."

wut?

So the shitty running 360 version is also a 5/5?

Probably not. They don't have the time to review multiple versions and in his review he basically says to just play it on PC. He does say in one paragraph that the game on 360/PS3 maintains most of the PC version's visual fidelity though, which isn't true. Even on low/medium the PC version looks a lot better, but I guess that goes without saying.

I was skimming over the old videos and it reminded me how long it's been since the last Load Our Last Save video was posted. That feature wasn't always great but I did really enjoy the Freedom Fighters multi part LOLS. I hope they go back to that sometime.
 
Instead of other Friday events, they should round up all the games they should have QLed but didn't and do them live. I think they could burn through them in 2-3 hours easy.
 
Most people listen to the podcast via their standard media player and/or device, so I don’t think very many people would benefit from a page-specific solution like that. It’d be nice, but I don’t see it happening, because chapter breaks would seem to require us to stop using MP3s and switch to something that may be a little less compatible with the full range of players out there.

For a site that offers their videos in 3 streaming options on the same player + youtube, it seems crazy to me they couldn't do a standard m4a + mp3 setup for the podcast. Either way, if someone's mp3 player/phone couldn't handle m4a, they may as well upgrade now to something from the last decade. I think Patrick hit a more practical answer to people requesting that.
 
I would listen to the bombcast if they would write a rundown with timestamps. 2+ hours is too much without any way to skip and choose the interesting parts.
 
OH MAN, Patrick has seen the light. Ending six is the true ending, isn't it? It'll be an excruciating wait until the next bombast.

I hope we get a VLR quicklook where he
does the AB game once, reloads and does it again with opposite choice
. The reaction for that needs to be archived on video in the library of congress.
